What is the Pascagoula Alien Abduction?
The Pascagoula Abduction refers to an alleged UFO sighting and an alien abduction from October 11th 1973, where two men were abducted by aliens. Charles (Charlie) Hickson aged 19 at the time and Calvin Parker aged 42 at the time were reportedly kidnapped from the Pascagoula River in Mississippi, USA.
The duo were allegedly kidnapped while they were fishing by the Pascagoula River. The two reveal that the aliens examined them before being released. While the two men stuck to their claims about their encounter with the outerworldly creatures, the truth about the event is still unknown.
What happened to Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker?
While being asked about the events of the night, Charles Hickson Calvin Parker told the Jackson County, Mississippi Sheriff’s office they were fishing off a pier on the west bank of the Pascagoula River in Mississippi. After they heard a strange sound, they saw two flashing blue lights and observed an oval-shaped object.
Charles and Calvin claimed they were ‘conscious but paralyzed’ while three ‘creatures’ with ‘robotic slit-mouths’ and ‘crab-like pincers’ took them aboard the object and subjected them to an examination.
Where is Charles Hickson now?
Following the alleged alien encounter, Charlie Hickson gave various interviews and lectures. He also appeared on TV shows like The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Dick Cavett Show as well as the game show, To Tell The Truth.
Charlie Hickson went on to reveal more details about the alien encounter in 1974. He later went on to write a self-published novel titled – UFO Contact at Pascagoula. Years later, in September 2011, Charles (Charlie) Hickson died naturally of a heart attack.
Where is Calvin Parker now?
Reports claim that Parker tried his best to stay out of the public eye for as long as possible after suffering severe trauma from the alleged abduction. Calvin Parker attended UFO conventions years after the incident. In 1993, Calvin Parker started a company called “UFO Investigations” to produce television stories about UFOs.
In 2018, Calvin Parker released his book, entitled Pascagoula – The Closest Encounter, My Story in which he details his first-ever full account of the event along with how it affected his life. Calvin Parker died from kidney cancer in August of 2023.
