DIRECTOR – Song Hyun-wook

The show is directed by Song Hyun-wook who made his directing debut in 2009 with the show Hot Blood. Over the years, Hyun-wook has participated in the direction of several Korean dramas including popular dramas like Introverted Boss, The Beauty Inside, The King’s Affection, The Golden Spoon among many others. 


SCREENWRITER- Kim Yi-rang

The show is written by Kim Yi-rang, also known for writing other popular K-dramas like Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency and Not a Robot, both of which were released in 2019.


MAIN CAST

Joo Won as Seo Ki-joo

Actor Joo Won plays the main lead – Seo Ki-joo in The Midnight Studio. Joo Won is best known for starring in popular K-dramas like King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo, Ojakgyo Family, Bridal Mask, Good Doctor, Naeil’s Cantabile and Yong Pal.

In this drama, Joo Won plays Seo Ki-joo, a photographer who runs a small photo studio and takes portraits of the ghosts that come into the store. He is the 7th owner of the photo studio, and the shop is only for ghosts.


Kwon Na-ra as Han Bom

Actress Kwon Na-ra is a member of the now-disbanded K-pop group Hello Venus. Na-ra has starred in various popular K-dramas like Itaewon Class, Suspicious Partner, Secret Royal Inspector, and Bulgasal: Immortal Souls among others. 

Na-ra plays Han Bom in the upcoming ENA fantasy drama The Midnight Studio. Han Bom is a lawyer who is passionate about her work and does not tolerate injustice.


Yoo In-soo as Go Dae-ri

Yoo In-soo made a name for himself after starring in recent popular dramas like All Of Us Are Dead, Alchemy of Souls, The Good Bad Mother, The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch, Daily Dose of Sunshine, and Death’s Game among others.  

In-soo will appear in The Midnight Studio as Assistant Manager Go Dae-ri who is in charge of bringing in ghosts as customers to the photo studio.


Eun Moon-suk as Baek Nam-gu

After making his acting debut in 2002, actor Eun Moon-suk made a name for himself by starring in popular Korean dramas and TV shows. Moon-suk was last seen in shows like The Fiery Priest, Backstreet Rookie, Café Minamdang, Duty After School: Part 1 and Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun.

Eun Moon-suk plays Baek Nam-gu, the man in charge of taking care of small chores around the Midnight Photo Studio.

The first season of The Midnight Studio will be broadcast on ENA, Genie TV and Viki from March 11th 2024 onwards. The show is a Monday-Tuesday drama with 16 episodes in total.
