The Last Immortal is the latest fantasy Chinese drama to grace our screens. Adapted from the novel Hidden God by Xing Ling, this wuxia show is a forbidden romance full of secret identities and conspiracies. It follows Feng Yin, an immortal who has a troublesome past. She is either the incarnation of a goddess or a lowly spirit that has happened to anger someone dangerous. The only way to find out is to gather all the pieces of her essence.
On her journey, she is accompanied by Gu Jin whose powers have been sealed, the fox Hong Yi and Princess Yan Shuang. But their mission is wrought with obstacles as the villain Qing Lin has his own reasons to stop them. The C-drama stars rising actors such as Zhao Lu Si, Wang An Yu, Li Yun Rui, Cao Fei Ran and Jiai Nai as their tale explores the different aspects of friendship and love.

Where Can I Watch The Last Immortal?
The Last Immortal is available to stream on Viki, WeTV and MGTV, and is set up as full episodes, so there’s no messing about with different parts on YouTube.
The first few episodes are free and after that, you will require a subscription to Viki. It is also streaming for free on Fresh Drama’s official YouTube channel.
The Last Immortal Episode Release Dates
The Last Immortal is a Chinese drama and as such, the episode release dates are a little different to those released in other Asian regions.
It premiered on Monday 11th December with 4 episodes. Following that, 2 episodes are released every day till 10th January 2024. The finale, episodes 39 and 40 will be released on 10th January 2024.
The episodes are released at 10am (GMT) / 6pm (SGT) / 2am (PT).
Expect each episode to be roughly 45 minutes long. Do note that the subtitle team at Viki is pretty quick with English subtitles available from release.
