What is The Kidnapping Day about?
The show narrates the story of Kim Myung-joon, a poor man with a warm heart who needs money for his sick daughter’s operation. Upon his ex-wife’s suggestion, he kidnaps a child with rich parents but ends up in an accident, hitting a young girl – Choi Ro-hee.
As it turns out, Ro-hee has not only lost her memory but her parents are also dead. With no one to pay their ransom amount for Ro-hee and her memory lost, Myung-joon turns into her father. Things take a chaotic turn when Ro-hee discovers that Myung-joon is not her father but her kidnapper.

The Kidnapping Day is an ENA K-drama and will be available to watch on the TV network for those in South Korea. The show will also be available to watch on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video with a valid subscription for international fans in select regions around the world.
The Kidnapping Day Episode 1 Release Date
Episode 1 of The Kidnapping Day will release on Wednesday 13th September at 9:00 pm (KST) / 8:00 am (EST) / 5:00 am (ET). Expect the episode to drop on Prime Video a few hours after its original release.
Also, do expect the episodes to drop with English subtitles. Each episode will have a runtime of around 1 hour 10 minutes.
How Many Episodes Will The Kidnapping Day Have?
It has been revealed that The Kidnapping Day is shorter than a regular K-drama with 12 episodes in total. The show will also be releasing two episodes each week with new episodes dropping every Wednesday and Thursday until the third week of October.
The show stars Yoon Kye-sang as Kim Myung-joon, Park Sung-hoon as Park Sang-yoon, Yu-na as Choi Ro-hee as the main leads. Meanwhile, the show will also have Kim Shin-rok as Seo Hye-eun, Kim Sang-ho as Park Cheol-won, Seo Jae-hee as Mo Eun-seon and Kang Young-seok as Jayden in supporting roles.
