The Equally Foolish Angel and Demon
The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil Episode 4 picks up where the previous episode left off. Lily is taking on the demon that she has been hunting. Akutsu, concerned about the demon’s safety, does his utmost to distract their attention away from each other.
As time goes on, Lily finds out that the demon can’t get enough of spats. Much to Akutsu’s surprise, Lily doesn’t exorcise the demon. Lily just turns him into a docile dog and puts him up for adoption.
Akutsu confronts Lily after the demon has been taken away, demanding to know why she did not kill the demon after purifying him. Now she says that instead of killing them, she just transforms them into good animals, locks their malicious thoughts away, and puts them up for adoption.
In the episode’s second half, Akutsu’s boss pays a visit to his home. She asks Akutsu if he has found a new leader. However, he assures her that he is seeking the perfect candidate because the position is delicate.
Following this, we witness Akutsu’s boss weirdly train him to find a leader for hell. She also encourages him to propose a nighttime rendezvous at a park with Yuka. Fortunately, Yuka doesn’t take things the wrong way and assures Akutsu that their conversation will remain confidential.
The Episode Review
Episode 4 finds Lily on the trail of a demon that is fixated on spats. Meanwhile, Akutsu makes every effort to divert her attention away from the fight. Afterward, Akutsu’s boss pays him a visit and tells him to step up his game to find Hell a new leader.
The plot of the show is still as muddled and confusing as it was in earlier episodes. Additionally, the characters are flat and uninteresting. As the episodes go on, the animation quality also gets worse.
