The Fire Hunter Season 2 is airing in Japan on WOWOW and other social channels. It is available to stream on Crunchyroll outside of Asian territories.
The Fire Hunter Season 2 Episode 5 Release Date
The Fire Hunter Season 2 Episode 5 will be released on Sunday 11th February at approximately 9am (GMT) / 1am (PT) / 3am (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.
The Fire Hunter Season 2 is not available with the dubbing from the release so expect the native Japanese tongue with subtitles to be up first. Dubbing will likely arrive later on down the line.
Season 2 Episode 5 is titled “Sea of Trees” and will be 24 minutes long.

What Happened In Episode 4?
In The Fire Hunter Season 2 Episode 4, Koushi finds himself in a strange domain with the Flickering Flame and a doctor from the Water Clan. They discuss the capital’s current developments briefly and touch upon the doctor’s reasons for experimenting on Hinako and several humans. Hibari arrives and shares his opinion on the matter, too.
Then, Koushi awakens from this state and discusses matters further with Hibari. Koushi stumbles upon several corpses as Touko and Kanata arrive and greet Kun. Koushi reflects on his failures to protect the capital’s citizens. Afterward, our heroes spot Yuoshichi and his comrade exterminating gods with a poison toxin.
Youshichi reflects on his disdain for the Spiders and the gods. He tells Koushi and his friends to use the tunnel to escape the capital. Koushi and the others reunite with Temari but Akira isn’t with Temari. Koushi and Touko touch upon Kira and plan to accompany Touko and Kun on their quest to find Akira.
Our heroes notice a mist-like entity nearby. Touko believes it’s the Flickering Flame. Our heroes follow the Flickering Flame and arrive at a water purification facility. Touko discusses important matters with the Flickering Flame and informs Koushi about what she discussed with her. Kun gets attacked by water-themed humans but Hibari arrives and saves him.
Hibari informs our heroes that the Flickering Flame is heading toward the divine clans’ location. He informs them about a route they should take to reach that area quicker. The episode closes with Koushi pondering this intel.
