For My Son
Episode 2 of The Cleaning Lady season 3 begins with Luca being taken away by the CPS for some mandatory screening. Rosa pleads to be with Luca in the room while he is being examined, but the CPS worker refuses, saying she’s not Luca’s doctor.
The CPS worker also guides her through the next step, which involves a home assessment check and a random wellness check before the judge decides whether Rosa is fit to take care of Luca. In simple terms, if Rosa wants to keep Luca, she needs to win the impending custody hearing.
Rosa once again goes to the Angel and asks him to get her in touch with them again. Angel asks her about the Sincara, and when she says she doesn’t know anything about them, Angel refuses to help her. Rosa returns home to find Ramona, Arman’s aunt, playing with her child. They sit for a conversation, and Ramona reveals that she has dispatched her best men to find Arman, but currently there’s no news.
Rosa also asks Ramona to help her in getting Fiona back to the States. Ramona refuses at first, but she is forced to rethink when Rosa offers her cleaning services. Meanwhile, Nadia has been constantly ringing mortuaries and going through missing persons’ lists to find Arman.
The next day, Jorge takes Ramona to Angel’s warehouse, and we learn that Sin Cara has killed Angel and his men for threatening Rosa. Jorge drops Rosa at the place and asks her to dispose of the bodies before he returns. Later, the cops arrive at the scene, but Rosa manages to escape in the nick of time.
Meanwhile, Chris becomes furious with his mother after learning about his father, Paula. Fiona tries to reason with him, but Chris doesn’t listen. The next day, Chris sneaks out of the house so he can spend some time with the father he never knew about.
Nadia receives a call from the morgue and drives there to check on the body. She doesn’t find Arman but runs into Jorge, who warns her to be careful and pray they never meet again.
After escaping the warehouse, Rosa heads straight to Jorge’s daughter’s school and tells him that Ramona showed up at her house and threatened her child. Jorge returns to Ramona’s house and asks what sort of game she is playing with Rosa. Jorge suggests killing Rosa, but Ramona refuses and says she can’t hurt someone who means something to Arman, at least until he has returned.
The same night, Jorge pays a visit to Rosa and hands her the flight information of her sister and family. Ramona asks if her debt to Ramona is paid, to which Jorge replies that it doesn’t work that way. He also tells Rosa to be grateful that she hasn’t been killed. After Jorge leaves, Rosa conveys the flight details to Fiona.
As the episode nears its end, Nadia meets Tony and reveals that she met Jorge, who threatens to kill her. Nadia also suggests that she thinks Jorge has Arman. Rosa asks Nadia to back down, otherwise they both will get killed. However, Nadia suspects that Rosa is hiding something and, therefore, calls Agent Catherine Russo.
The Episode Review
So, do you think Nadia’s suspicion is valid? Could Jorge really be the one behind Arman’s kidnapping? It’s a surprising angle to consider, but when Nadia brings it up, it starts to make sense.
Jorge has been quite aggressive and ruthless, eliminating anyone who gets in his way. He even wanted to get rid of Rosa, but Ramona intervened. So, if he did kidnap Arman, what could be his motive? Is it some kind of power play or part of a larger conspiracy?
