The Changeling Season 1 Episode 7 Release Date
The Changeling Season 1 Episode 7 will be released on Friday, October 6, at 9 pm ET/PT. Expect the runtime to be roughly 47 minutes or even more, as was the case with the first three episodes.
The new episode is titled “Stormy Weather.” The tagline for Episode 7 reads: “Lillian reckons with a dark night from her past and records a message for her son, Apollo.”
How Many Episodes Will The Changeling Have?
The Changeling’s Season 1 will run for a total of 8 episodes. So, after episode 7, we will be left with the finale for Season 1. Given how interesting this slow burn has been, expect the finale to have all the surprising answers to the burning questions of the series.
What happened in Episode 6?
Episode 6 of The Changeling, “Aftermath,” focuses on the aftermath of Emma’s seemingly belligerent act on what we now know was not a human baby but a Changeling. Kim, Emma’s sister, knew about her infractions and encouraged her to go to the island and find out the truth about herself. Although Emma was as hurt as Apollo about what she did and had the same anger, Cal calmed her down to give Emma an opportunity to recalibrate.
Emma found a small tree branch in Brian’s crib before she left. She desperately looks for clues that will take her to the source of this branch and ultimately her human baby. Emma gets a clue from another mother on the island and ends up with a name: the Norwegian Maple tree. Emma frequents the library where she worked in town to bring back books for the island’s library. She also sees Apollo making a scene with a gun (when he is arrested).
Emma discovers a full-fledged network of the “mole people” living underground like an ordinary community. She prints out a map of the NM trees in the NYC region to get her next clue. Wheels, who entertains her around the mole community, comes up with the defining clue when Emma mentions the tree’s variety. This new clue is directly tied to the prologue of the show, which we will know more about in the next episode.
