What Happened in Episode 14?
In the Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Episode 14, Maribel and her friend continue their search for the magic book. Chise learns a bit about Philomela’s upbringing through Alcyone. Alcyone and Philomela discuss Philomela’s striving to accept things from others. Alcyone recites Philomela’s Grandmother’s warning to Philomela and we learn she may have her parents hostage somewhere.
Meanwhile, Maribel and her friend visit a shopowner for leads on the magic book culprit. He promises to inform them about any information he obtains regarding the perpetrator. Chise and her friends tackle some exams and Isaac and Rian discuss their feelings toward Philomela. Maribel and her friend send Lyza a note about the book being in the school.
The episode closes with an unknown individual trying to communicate with Jasmine St. George, a student from the College.
