The Afterparty Season 2 Episode 10
The Afterparty’s season 1 was a creative experiment that definitely caught everyone’s attention. The unique twist on the whodunit genre was one of Apple’s most unique television endeavours. Now in its second season, The Afterparty is an even more exciting offering that will definitely grab a lot of eyeballs. Some of the cast from season 1 returns, including Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, and Zoe Chao.
The new season was supposed to be released in the month of April. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances and the WGA strike, the release of season 2 was postponed to July. But do not worry as the release is now going as per the new schedule with no interruptions!
The season was set up promisingly in the first few episodes but has been brought to a standstill in the second half. The final episode of Season 2 will have a lot of onus to steer the ship toward a satisfactory ending.
Here is everything you need to know about The Afterparty Season 2 Episode 10, including the release date, time and where you can watch this show.
Where Can I Watch The Afterparty Season 2?
The Afterparty is available to watch on Apple TV Plus platforms across the globe in the US, UK, and almost 60 other countries. Although it is mostly an exclusive platform, The Afterparty will also be available to stream on Roku with a slight delay owing to their partnership with the streamers.
The Afterparty Season 2 Episode 10 Release Date
The Afterparty Season 2 Episode 9 will be released on Wednesday 6th September at 12am (PT)/3am (ET). The episode will become available to stream on all global Apple TV+ platforms simultaneously. The Afterparty will drop with subtitles available from the release too.
Episode 10 is expected to be roughly 34 minutes long, consistent with the episodic lengths for the first season.
The chapter is titled “Vivian and Zoe” who are the only two characters not to be under suspicion until now. That could very well change as The Afterparty has showcased previously. Two things that remain interesting are Zoe hiding the teapot in Edgar’s room in episode 8 after learning about Travis’ experience and Vivian’s flower collection. Both of them cannot be coincidence. The mystery will hopefully be resolved in episode 10!
How Many Episodes Will The Afterparty Season 2 Have?
Season 2 of The Afterparty was originally commissioned for 9 episodes but Apple have now announced episode 10 as well. So episode 9 is not the finale we thought it would be as we will have another chapter to close the saga. Episode 10 will be the final episode in Season 2 of The Afterparty.
What Happened In Episode 9?
Episode 9 of The Afterparty showed Isabel’s version of what went down. In a dramatic turn of events, Edgar is revealed to be a money-hungry son who put his own mother, Isabel, in harm’s way. She reveals that after her husband’s death, she remained the only obstacle in Edgar’s way to take over the family’s assets. To ensure that Isabel did not become too much trouble, he independently decided to make her think she was going crazy.
This included things like giving her Adderall instead of sleeping pills so that she couldn’t sleep and creating ruses to make her think she was losing her marbles. One of the defining things Edgar did was change the napkins at rehearsal dinner night which did not say Grace’s name. Isabel was responsible for ordering the specially curated napkins. When Isabel discovered a box of the correct order she had given, her suspicion turned into reality for her.
She came to the conclusion that Edgar tried to poison her at the wedding but mistakenly ate the poisoned cake himself. However, Aniq and Danner do not seem to agree with the theory so it is left to the final episode to reveal who the killer is.
