TenPuru: No One Can Live On Loneliness – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap & Review

Let’s Establish Facts!

Episode 6 of TenPuru begins with Kurage writing in her diary. We learn that Kiki-san advised her to keep a diary because it helps with self-awareness. Later, Kurage is seen praising Akegami in her diary.

Yuzuki soon notices that she is gaining weight. Following this, the temple girls gather to discuss their weight-gain concerns. They conclude that there has been a curse ever since Akegami arrived at the temple. However, after further discussion, they justify it by claiming that they are simply growing and that the weight gain is likely normal.

Soon after, Akegami appears and offers the girls his homemade sweets. The girls can’t stop themselves from indulging in the delectable treats. Later that day, Yuzuki asks Akegami to prepare pickled radishes for the girls’ lunch. Yuzuki does this because she and the other girls want to lose weight. Soon after, Akegami spots her practising with an axe. He then assumes she intends to murder him.

Yuzuki appears withdrawn at lunch and eats by herself. This heightens Akegami’s concerns. Later that day, he discovers she is preparing to become the high priest. Following that, Akegami and Mia-san join Yuzuki in her training under Kiki-san. Yuzuki’s fiance appears near the end of the episode and announces that she has three months to become the high priest or he will call off the engagement. Naturally, everyone grows concerned by this revelation.

The Episode Review
