TenPuru: No One Can Live On Loneliness – Season 1 Episode 2 Recap & Review

Being Pervy Isn’t A Bad Thing

Episode 2 of TenPuru: No One Can Live On Loneliness continues from where we left off. Aoba Yuzuki clarifies her previous remarks. She goes on to say that Akemitsu must work in the temple for them until he has paid them back with his labor. The majority of the nuns are unhappy with her decision.

Following this, Kiki-san, a nun, plots with the other women, asking Tsukuyo, the second daughter, to seduce Akemitsu and throw him out. Tsukuyo visits Akemitsu while he is bathing. Following that, she tries to seduce him, but he resists. However, when an accident is about to happen, he saves her. Yuzuki walks in and spots Tsukuyo and Akemitsu’s accidental kiss. She then requests that Akemitsu leave.

Akemitsu is embarrassed by what has happened and leaves the temple. Meanwhile, the nunnery’s women are overjoyed that he is leaving. Tsukuyo, on the other hand, is overcome with guilt. She pays a visit to Yuzuki in her room. Yuzuki then discovers that Akemitsu has left the nunnery for good. She is also aware of the women’s plotting at this point.

Yuzuki and Tsukuyo get Akemitsu back to the nunnery. Kurage, the third daughter, then tells him about Yuzuki’s past as a stupid person. He accidentally says out loud, “I want to know everything.” She shoves him into the bathroom, where Yuzuki and Tsukuyo are showering and he is humiliated. Yuzuki then tells Kurage to stop bothering Akemitsu, and the episode comes to a close.

The Episode Review

Episode 2 of TenPuru revolves around the protagonist’s attempts to settle into his new job at the nunnery. Meanwhile, the nunnery’s women plot against Akemitsu to get rid of him.

The anime is attempting to experiment with a very specific type of humor. However, it appears to fall flat on the show, at least up to this point. Additionally, the character arcs in the show aren’t particularly good because none of the characters seem interesting. Given that this is only the second episode, we are hoping that things will pick up.
