Sweet Trap is a fun Chinese drama set in modern-day China. This rom-com has everything from enemies to lovers and a workplace romance. Jiang Jie is a cold and ruthless chef who has excelled as far as to be acknowledged as a five-star chef. Then there is the clumsy and bubbly Li Nai who is a street chef who runs around avoiding cops. To bring honour to her master’s name, she decides to work at Jiang Jie’s restaurant. She hopes to compete with him and come out on the top. Of course, he has other plans as he only agrees, if only to prove to everyone that no one can even come close to his talent.
This C-drama stars rising actors Zhang Miao Yi as the optimistic and persevering Li Nai while Xie Bin Bin plays the cocky and confident Jiang Jie. Alongside them, the cast includes Tian Xu Ning, Yakisa, Xu Yang Hao and Li Shu Man.

The first few episodes are free and after that, you will require a subscription to Viki.
Sweet Trap Episode Release Dates
Sweet Trap is a Chinese drama and as such, the episode release dates are a little different to those released in other Asian regions.
It premiered on Monday 29th January with 5 episodes. Following that, 1 episode is released every weekday till 21st February. The finale, episode 24 will be released on 21st February.
The episodes are released at 4am (GMT) / 12pm (SGT) / 8pm (PT) on the previous day.
Expect each episode to be roughly 30 minutes long. Do note that the subtitle team is pretty quick with English subtitles available from release.
