Sweet Reincarnation is the latest deliciously scrumptious anime to drop during the hot summer months. Within this one, a promising pâtissier passes away without ever having achieved his dream of making the world’s greatest pastry.
However, he is given another chance when he reincarnates as nine-year-old Pastry Mille Morteln. With his memories intact, he’s determined to be successful this time. However, his life isn’t as sweet as his treats, as he encounters a number of hardships in the magical world he finds himself in. In order to achieve his dreams, Pastry is forced to learn how to fight, using his extensive culinary knowledge to aid him, and discovering magic along the way.

Where Can I Watch Sweet Reincarnation?
Sweet Reincarnation is airing in Japan on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo and AT-X. However, it is available to stream on Crunchyroll outside of Asian territories worldwide.
Sweet Reincarnation Episode 1 Release Date
Sweet Reincarnation Episode 1 will release on Tuesday 4th July at approximately 25:30am (JST). If you’re confused by that timing, don’t be. This is Japan’s way of writing out 1am, so technically the series will actually air on Monday 3rd July at around 5.30pm (GMT) / 9.30am (PT).
Sweet Reincarnation’s episodes will drop in the native Japanese language with subtitles. Dubbing may well arrive later on down the line, but will largely be dependent on how popular this anime will be.
How Many Episodes Will Sweet Reincarnation Have?
No official announcement has been made just yet, but we do know there are 9 volumes for the manga so far, with a tenth set to release around the middle of August. There’s plenty to adapt but it seems likely that, with one episode releasing a week and the usual structure of anime of this kind, that there will be 13 episodes in total to begin with.
