What happens to Tommy?
In the final episode, Rocco’s world turns upside down when he unexpectedly encounters Tommy on the rooftop of a building. Rocco had long believed Tommy was dead, having supposedly taken his life by jumping into the river in Paris. Tommy leads his brother to a nearby bar. There, over drinks, Tommy reveals that Lucia, Tommy’s old flame, is about to tie the knot.
As the night progresses, the brothers reminisce about old times, memories flooding back after almost a decade of separation.
However, the next morning, Rocco wakes to find Tommy gone. Tommy has headed to Lucia’s wedding, planning to gun down the newlyweds, but when the moment comes, Tommy finds himself unable to carry out his plan, unable to pull the trigger on the woman he once loved.
Rocco takes Tommy to his house, a rundown apartment where the walls are adorned with posters of Rocco’s films. In this moment, it dawns on Rocco that Tommy was never jealous of him, but rather he was, in fact, Rocco’s biggest fan.
After tucking his brother into bed, Rocco exits the room. Soon after, we hear a loud gunshot, suggesting that Tommy has taken his own life.
Do Rocco and Rosa reconcile?
In the penultimate episode, Rocco asked Rosa to star in his next film, but she initially said no. However, she later agrees under the condition that she won’t be forced to do anything she’s uncomfortable with.
Soon, they start dating, but things get complicated when Rosa tells Rocco he knows how to have sex but not how to make love. This makes Rocco realize the toll his job has taken on his personal life. Despite loving Rosa, Rocco decides to break up with her because he loves his job more!
Eventually, Rocco and Rosa reconcile and decide to have a child together. Although Rocco doesn’t leave the adult industry, he promises Rosa that he won’t let his work destroy their relationship.
The Episode Review
The final episode was a tough one to watch. We learn that Tommy is alive, but the sound of a gunshot after Rocco leaves his apartment suggests that Rocco has died this time.
Unlike Rocco, Tommy lost everything he held dear—his restaurant, the love of his life, and even his son. It’s safe to say that Tommy was a tragic hero, even though he wasn’t the main protagonist.
