Supersex – Episode 2 “The Flesh” Recap & Review

The Flesh

Episode 2 of Supersex, titled “The Flesh,” opens with Ricardo announcing to the press that Rocco isn’t hanging up his coat, not just yet! He tells Rocco that his announcement can either be a great marketing stunt or the end of his thriving career. However, it seems that Rocco has made up his mind and no longer wants to do adult films.

To add to the intrigue, Rocco keeps seeing his dead brother, Tommy, everywhere he goes. The episode then takes us back to Rocco’s past, where he has matured into a handsome teenager. Rocco decides to leave Ortona to go live with his brother, Tommy, in Paris. 

Every superhero needs their own corner of the world where their powers can flourish. Just as Superman needed the wide-open skies to learn to fly, Paris was Tommy’s playground where he thrived. Tommy arranges for his brother Rocco to work at his boss’s restaurant, unknowingly a front for money laundering.

It’s here that Rocco meets Sylvie, a free-spirited beauty who shares his wanderlust for carefree travel. Sylvie is the sister of Jean Claude, a shady character Tommy is involved with. Over time, their attraction becomes too strong to resist, leading them to share a passionate night together.

However, Rocco’s lack of finesse leaves Sylvie feeling uneasy. Rocco was not one to settle for just one woman; he craved the thrill of sleeping with and pleasing as many as he could.

And just like that, Rocco starts bedding as many women as he can, whether it’s a customer at the restaurant or a physiotherapist offering to bandage his arm. When Sylvie finds out, it breaks her heart to see that Rocco is willing to sleep with anyone in town except her. Despite Sylvie’s love for Rocco and her confession of feelings, Rocco bluntly rejects her.

As the episode goes on, Rocco becomes involved in an underground sex club where people go to fulfill their wildest fantasies. When Jean Claude learns about Sylvie and Rocco, he threatens the latter.

Tommy also warns Rocco to stay away from the club, but Rocco’s addiction to its allure proves stronger. It’s at this club that Rocco catches the eye of Gabriel Pontello, the man who would later change the course of his life.

The Episode Review

The second episode delves further into Rocco’s formative years, when he relocated to Paris to live with his brother, Tommy.. Following his intercourse with Sylvie, Rocco comes to the realization that he desires sex beyond everything else.

As a result, he meets new women and eventually becomes a member of an illegal erotic club. In addition, he crosses up with Gabriel Pontello, who will later play an important role to in Rocco’s story—but how exactly? That much is up in the air.
