The Super Mario Bros. Movie
If you’re a fan of Mario, Luigi, Toad, and all of the other characters from Nintendo’s popular game series, you will probably be looking forward to this upcoming adaptation. You might also be a little cautious. The last time we had a Super Mario Bros. movie was in 1993 and that live-action stinker ranks as one of the worst game-to-screen adaptations of all time.
Thankfully, this new movie looks pretty good. Judging by the trailer, the characters, locations, and music are faithful to the games so this should be a movie that pleases the fans. That being said, not everybody is happy about Chris Pratt’s voicework as Mario – he doesn’t sound anything like the red-hatted plumber – but that is the only negative we have about the movie at the time of writing.
Plotwise, we know that Mario will be travelling through the Mushroom Kingdom with Princess Peach and Toad on a journey to find his brother, Luigi. This isn’t just a movie about family reunions, however, as Mario and his friends also have to save the world from the fire-breathing Bowser. Will they succeed? All will be revealed when the movie hits its expected release date.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be landing in theatres on the 5th April 2023 in the US and the 7th April 2023 in the UK.
