Sullivan’s Crossing Season 1 Episode 8 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Sullivan’s Crossing Season 1 Episode 8

Sullivan’s Crossing is a Canadian drama show that debuted in the US on October 4, 2023. The series was first released on CTV back in March of this year. It stars Morgan Kohan, Tom Jackson, and Chad Michael Murray in central roles. The story is based on Robyn Carr’s novel of the same name and is set in rural Nova Scotia.

The events of Season 1 revolve around Morgan’s character Maggie, an up-and-coming neurosurgeon who gets embroiled in a controversy that derails her professional career. Sullivan’s Crossing promises to be a serious-minded drama that revolves around themes of family dysfunction, abandonment, and the constant jostling of our species with questions about our identity and purpose.

The official tagline of the show reads: “After neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan’s personal and professional life are thrown into turmoil, she returns home to Sullivan’s Crossing. While there, Maggie is forced to navigate her complicated present while confronting the painful past she has chosen to ignore for years.”

We’re halfway through the most-watched Canadian series of the year…and the judgment is still out. Although first impressions have not been quite promising, there is still ample time left in Season 1.

Here is everything you need to know about Sullivan’s Crossing Season 1 Episode 8, including its release date, time, and where you can watch this.

Where Can I Watch Sullivan’s Crossing?

Sullivan’s Crossing will be broadcast on CW. It will also be available to stream on the network’s streaming service, CW+ a day after the same has aired. CW has exclusive rights to air the show in the US. Unfortunately, for our readers in the UK and India, we currently do not have any broadcast or streaming options for Season 1 of Sullivan’s Crossing.

Sullivan’s Crossing Season 1 Episode 8 Release Date

Sullivan’s Crossing Season 1 Episode 8 will be released on Wednesday, November 22, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The 9 p.m. time slot will be taken by another series import, The Spencer Sisters.

Expect the runtime to be roughly 46 minutes, which we expect to remain the same for Season 1. The new episode of Sullivan’s Crossing is titled “Aftershock,” and it will probably revolve around Maggie’s emotional turmoil. Everything keeps happening against the tide for her. Maggie’s difficulties are growing with every episode, bringing out her true mettle to overcome adversity.

You can catch a rerun of the second episode on CW on 23 November at 4 p.m. The episode will be available to stream with subtitles.

How Many Episodes Will Sullivan’s Crossing Have?

Sullivan’s Crossing Season 1 will run for a total of 10 episodes. So, after episode 8, we will have another 2 episodes to go that will follow a weekly release schedule, subject to any changes CW might make in between. We do not expect there to be any major scheduling interruptions, although the network might decide to go for doubleheaders for the season finale.

What happened in Episode 7?

In the emotional aftermath of Roy’s funeral, tensions escalate as Andrew’s jealousy surfaces, leading to a destructive poker game against Cal. Sully’s hidden truths about Andrew unsettle Maggie, while Cal’s connection with Lola hints at potential romance. Finn’s struggles worsen, and Andrew’s manipulative actions, including deleting Maggie’s texts, culminate in a heated confrontation, resulting in Andrew’s violent outburst and departure.

Maggie, shattered by the events, seeks solace at Sully’s, only to find her past erased. The episode ends with Maggie’s heartbreak, paralleling her earlier departure from Sullivan’s Crossing, as she witnesses the loss of her former sanctuary, leaving her in tears.

  1. Love the show. Looking forward to upcoming episodes. Please keep up good work . At 65 it nice to have a good show to watch. . Don’t change . I wished I’d heard about it sooner. There’s so much “Junk”& -reality crap on TV it’s refreshing to watch. Has quality & great actors. I can watch it with my grandkids
