Station 19 Season 7 Episode Episode 5 [Spoilers]
Following the intense shift in the previous episode, the team still grapples with their own issues. Ben and Travis continue their feud while Maya attempts to uplift the atmosphere. However, Vic’s mental state is deteriorating rapidly. The Mayor’s closure of Crisis 1 sends her over the edge, leading to a complete breakdown.
During the press conference after Station 19 saves the day, she publicly calls out the Mayor, forcing Andy to give her the day off. She calls Theo for reinforcements, but even he is worried about Vic. It is concerning that no one truly sees what Vic is going through.
On the other hand, Natasha finally says yes. Carina learns she can’t get pregnant since none of her eggs are viable. Fortunately, Maya offers her egg. After another tough shift, 19 finally find their team spirit, and it is all happy tears during Andy’s pinning ceremony. We bet her dad is looking down on her from heaven with nothing but pride in his eyes. We are definitely proud of the Captain she is shaping up to be!
What to expect in episode 6?
According to the teaser, the episode will heavily focus on Vic and the consequences of her actions. We know that she and Travis are not in a good place. Theo is also trying to reach out, but she is blocking anyone trying to help her.
From the side-lines, Natasha and Andy try to save Vic’s job as the Mayor is looking to fire her. Natasha makes one hell of a point that the Mayor’s ego is getting the best of him. She is right; Vic doesn’t deserve to be fired. She is an amazing firefighter; the city will lose a gem if they let her go. However, we are concerned that something else will happen, which leaves Andy and Travis wondering how to break the news to her.
