Sound! Euphonium Season 3
Sound! Euphonium Season 3 is a new sequel in the Sound! Euphonium series. This is set after the Ensemble Contest arc OVA that aired in 2023. In Season 3, we’ll continue following our protagonist Kumiko Oumae during her third year of school. After becoming her band’s president, Kumiko is determined to help Kitauji High School claim its long-awaited victory at nationals.

Sound! Euphonium Season 3 Episode 3 Release Date
The entire schedule for Sound! Euphonium Season 3 so far is as follows:
- Episode 3 – April 21st 2024
Episode 3 will be released on Sunday 21st April at 5pm (JST) / 8am (GMT) / 4am (ET) / 1am (PT). This is a weekend show, with 1 episode releasing each week on Sundays.
Expect episode 3 to be roughly 25 minutes long, which is consistent with the timeframe for the rest of the show.
Where Can I Watch Sound! Euphonium Season 3?
Sound! Euphonium Season 3 will air on Crunchyroll for global audiences like prior seasons. In Japan, it’ll be streaming on the NHK E-Tele Network that week before moving across to terrestrial TV. There, it will also be available to watch on networks like Abema TV, WOWOW, and others. Also, it’ll be available in Japan on streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, and Hulu.
How Many Episodes Will Sound! Euphonium Season 3 Have?
Sound! Euphonium Season 3 is expected to have 13 episodes. With that in mind, 10 episodes are remaining after this one. As long as the schedule doesn’t change, it should look something like this:

What Happened In Episode 2?
In Sound! Euphonium Season 3 Episode 2, Mayu introduces herself to the class. Later, she confronts Kumiko about her worries about joining the concert band. The two settle the matter briefly. Next, Kumiko interacts and receives updates on several other students’ activities from Suzume to Mayu. Then, she, Kousaka, and Shuuichi meet with Taki.
They learn they must choose between three music pieces for the future competition. Then, Kumiko indulges in several discussions with other students the next day. Before she and Kousaka start sectionals, Suzume pulls Kumiko aside. She complains about Tsubame’s SunFes role. After Kumiko, Tsubame, and Suzume settle that matter, we enter a new scene involving Kumiko and Kousaka.
They discuss Kumiko’s presidential qualms and the pieces Taki wanted them to choose from. Then, she, Kousaka, and Shuuichi visit Taki at the staff office to make their music selection. Then, the three accompany Taki to the concert band’s club room. Taki and Kousaka give inspirational speeches to the band members. The chapter closes with a shot of a shrine.
