Solo Leveling Episode 8 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Solo Leveling Season 1

Solo Leveling is a new action-adventure fantasy anime based on a popular webtoon. It takes place in a world where hunters explore dungeons to collect nifty rewards and battle dangerous beasts. At the center of our tale is Sung, who happens to be the weakest hunter in this universe. One day, he tackles a dungeon that’s too much for him to handle.

Before perishing, a log appears in front of him and asks him if he’d like to become the Player. If he chooses “no,” he’ll perish. Not wanting to die, Sung accepts the log’s terms. This kickstarts Sung’s journey to become the most powerful hunter of all time.

What Happened In Episode 7?

In Solo Leveling Season 1 Episode 7, a man gives Woo a document and informs him about a deadly hunter expedition event that occurred recently. Woo doesn’t show interest in the expedition event at first. However, when the man tells him Sung and Hwang are involved, his interest piques.

Later, Sung arrives home with food. He tells Jinah that they won’t have any monetary worries for a while. After discussing his experiences with Hwang’s party with Jinah, the Player Log system tells him the alcohol he’s consuming will harm him. Sung returns to his room to see what’s up. Sung learns a reward he earned from the double-dungeon expedition is preventing him from getting drunk.

Later, Sung meets Yoo at a cafe. Yoo wants Sung to help him complete 19 raids so he can become a guild master. Sung refuses so Yoo offers him thirty million dollars if he complies. Sung ponders if he should accept this offer. Unfortunately, he stands by his earlier decision to decline it. Elsewhere, Hwang’s brother Dongsoo receives intel about the people who survived the expedition Hwang participated in.

Dongsoo feels Sung and Yoo are responsible for his brother’s death. He plans to confront them in the future. We cut to Sung and Jinah jogging in a park and discussing what Jinah would spend thirty million dollars on. Sung picks up the pace and learns he’s exceeded his daily running requirement. This entices him to see how far he can go with the system.

This results in Sung earning many valuable items, including a key to an S-Rank dungeon. When he learns he can earn an item that could cure his mother, Sung travels to that dungeon’s location and fights a powerful magic beast called Hell’s Gatekeeper Cerberus. With his tools and skills, Sung defeats Cerberus.

However, he learns he must gather three more ingredients that are located in this dungeon’s castle. The episode closes with Sung stating that he plans to scale the castle at a later time.

We’ve covered the entire episode with a lengthy recap that touches on all major plot points and discusses the chapter with an accompanying review. You can find that link below.
