Solo Leveling Episode 7 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Solo Leveling Season 1

Solo Leveling is a new action-adventure fantasy anime based on a popular webtoon. It takes place in a world where hunters explore dungeons to collect nifty rewards and battle dangerous beasts. At the center of our tale is Sung, who happens to be the weakest hunter in this universe. One day, he tackles a dungeon that’s too much for him to handle.

Before perishing, a log appears in front of him and asks him if he’d like to become the Player. If he chooses “no,” he’ll perish. Not wanting to die, Sung accepts the log’s terms. This kickstarts Sung’s journey to become the most powerful hunter of all time.

What Happened In Episode 6?

In Solo Leveling Season 1 Episode 6, Hwang and his allies discuss his mana crystal gathering plan briefly. Hwang says if things go south, they can gather a few mana crystals and sell Yoo’s armor once the spider kills him. Hwang proceeds to research Yoo’s family’s history and discusses the spider boss with his comrade Kyuhwan.

In the dungeon, Yoo’s unsure if Sung can handle the spider boss alone. Internally, Sung admits that the spider boss might be more opposing than the Kasaka and rock boss he defeated in a previous episode. Despite his worries, Sung charges at the spider boss. Sung puts up a brilliant effort but the spider’s defenses prevent him from laying a worthy strike.

Additionally, Sung realizes his fatigue is preventing him from overwhelming this boss, too. Eventually, Sung’s fatigue stat gets the better of him, resulting in the spider boss getting the upper hand. Before the spider boss strikes Sung, Sung uses a “full recovery” reward he received from a prior daily quest. This, along with his Kasaka blade, helps him defeat the spider boss.

After a brief sparring session and discussion ensues between Chairman Go and Woo, we return to following Sung and Yoo in the dungeon. Yoo showers Sung with kindness, and eventually, Hwang and his party arrive. They’re bewildered that the two survived and defeated the spider boss. Hwang informs the two about his and his party’s schemes and orders Yoo to kill Sung.

Otherwise, they’ll kill him and Sung. Yoo chooses to side with Sung, resulting in Kyuhwan attacking Sung. After a brief get-together sequence between Heejin and her friends, we return to Sung and Yoo’s battle with Hwang and his men. Before he gets attacked, the Player Log system tells Sung that he must kill Hwang and his men, otherwise, his “heart will stop.”

After contemplating things over, Sung massacres Hwang’s men. Hwang tries pleading with Sung to not kill him, but Sung murders him. Afterward, the two leave the dungeon and Yoo explains what happened to a worker. After that, Yoo thanks Sung for his assistance. The episode closes with a shot of a mysterious yet muscular fellow.

We’ve covered the entire episode with a lengthy recap that touches on all major plot points and discusses the chapter with an accompanying review. You can find that link below.
