Solo Leveling Episode 3 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Solo Leveling Season 1

Solo Leveling is a new action-adventure fantasy anime based on a popular webtoon. It takes place in a world where hunters explore dungeons to collect nifty rewards and battle dangerous beasts. At the center of our tale is Sung, who happens to be the weakest hunter in this universe. One day, he tackles a dungeon that’s too much for him to handle.

Before perishing, a log appears in front of him and asks him if he’d like to become the Player. If he chooses “no,” he’ll perish. Not wanting to die, Sung accepts the log’s terms. This kickstarts Sung’s journey to become the most powerful hunter of all time.

What Happened In Episode 2?

In Solo Leveling Season 1 Episode 2, Sung assists Song with his wound. Song praises Sung for his wisdom and Sung wonders if the laser beam shooting statue is the God referred to in the dungeon’s ancient scripture. We receive a brief scene involving Sung’s sister Jinah and return to our hunters in the dungeon. Sung bows before the statue and realizes it is the God the ancient scripture was referring to. He asks the others to do the same, and they pass the first test.

The God statue rises from its seat and Sung informs the others they must find a way to praise the God statue. After more deaths ensue, Sung tells the remaining hunters to head near the instrument-carrying statues. Sung struggles to reach a statue himself and ends up losing a leg in the process. Fortunately, this plan worked. Before the third phase begins, Joohee rushes to Sung’s aid and tries to heal him. After she fails to do so, Kim and Song get into an argument.

Then, the God statue summons an altar in the middle of the dungeon. Kim urges Song to sacrifice himself to make amends for his poor leadership. Song walks in front of the altar, activating its flames. After Sung persuades some hunters to take him to the altar, he observes it and asks the others to enter it. Suddenly, several statues walk toward our hunters. Sung urges everyone to keep an eye on the statues because he believes it’s their ticket to survival.

However, when a woman concedes and leaves the area (seemingly unharmed), the others follow suit. Sung convinces Song to escape the dungeon with Joohee. Alone, the statues brutally assault Sung. Sung reflects on his life experiences and tries to put up a decent fight. Before he perishes, a log appears in front of him. The log asks Sung if he’d like to become the “Player.” If he chooses not to, he’ll perish in two seconds. The episode closes with Sung choosing “Yes.”
