Exploring Otherworld South Vale

As you leave Brookhaven Hospital, you’ll step into the Otherworld version of South Vale. The path here is pretty linear, offering up way more combat than exploration. However, there are still some collectibles to grab along the way.

When you finally reach East South Vale, look for a campervan on the right. Head inside to save your game and pick up Note on a Map (Memo#1) from the table, which marks a “Letter and Wrench” hint on your map at the American Café.

Leave and progress along the streets, pass through Happy Burger (using the metal door to leave the back and using the cart to hop over the gate and back into the street) and continue along the street.

Head inside Neely’s Bar, where you can find Glimpse of the Past #1 on the counter and another path leading to the next area.

When you reach the question mark on your map, a public phone will be ringing. Pick it up, but no one’s on the other end. Letter (Memo #2) will automatically appear when James puts the phone down, and you’ll also grab the Wrench from the phone booth.

Before moving on, stop by the Lucky Jade Restaurant. There’s a car parked outside, and if you smash the driver’s window, you’ll find They’re Here (Strange Photo #1) on the seat.

Rosewater Park

Head north along Neely Street and use the Wrench on the gate next to the save point to pass through. Follow the long, dark tunnel (and honestly, this is a seriously dark section!) that leads to Rosewater Park.

Find a path through the park, and it’s pretty dark so I’d suggest opening your map so you’re going in the right direction toward the circle marked on your map.

Here, you’ll encounter Angela once again. After the cutscene, retrieve 1x Historical Society Key from the metal box. With the key, leave Rosewater Park and head west up Nathan Avenue toward the Historical Society which should be circled by now.

On the way, be sure to stop by Room 106 at Jack’s Inn. Interact with the prompt on the back wall for the “All Seems in Order” Trophy. Then, use the key to unlock the front door of the Historical Society, where the next section of this walkthrough will continue.
