The Name of Magic

Episode 7 starts off with Ironside putting both the pieces of the artifact together and starting the ritual. He brings forth evil spirits, or should I say, creatures of chaos, asking them to feed on the innocent townspeople and use them as sacrifices.

These so-called creatures of chaos have the ability to turn innate objects into giant monstrosities. Ironside orders his familiar, Darak, to take charge of the creatures of chaos, and to sacrifice every single townspeople. Perci and others race to the town’s square and ask Ironside to stop the ritual.

Ironside currently has no intention to attack Perci, as there are more important tasks at hand. However, Ironside makes everyone aware that, unlike Talisker, he’s not to be trifled with. This scares Donny, and he realizes that Ironside will not hesitate for a second before murdering them.

Thus, to save himself, Donny escapes the town. As for Anne, Nasiens, and Perci, they refuse to leave and attack Ironside. Unfortunately, their resolve is no match for Ironside’s strength. Even though Nasiens manages to subdue Ironside by imbuing his sword with poison, Ironside immediately breaks free from it. 

Ironside stabs Percival’s hands and threatens to kill anyone if they intervene. Ironside also reveals that the reason he killed Varghese is because the erstwhile knight betrayed his king and stole something precious. As a final stroke, Ironside plunges his sword deep into Perci’s heart, supposedly killing Perci.

Ironside then orders the demons to kill everyone. Nasiens tries his best to wake up Perci with his healing potions, but it’s no use. However, Perci isn’t dead, given we can still see the mini glowing Percivels that Perci uses to heal himself and his friends. 

As the episode nears its end, Donny changes his mind and races towards the square to destroy the artifact and aid his friends in battle. We also see Perci’s magic completely healing him and also amplifying his strengths tenfold.

The Episode Review

In Episode 7, Ironside’s evil ritual summons chaos creatures, and he orders them to destroy the town. Donny pulls an escape, fearing death. On the other hand, Anne, Nasiens, and Perci defy Ironside but find his strength unmatched.

Perci is stabbed, but thanks to his healing powers, he is able to hold his own in the battle with his father. Donny also has a change of heart and sprints towards the square to help his friends. Will they stop Ironside and his monster army? Let’s find out.
