Secret Invasion kickstarts Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase V in grand fashion. Having learned from its recent positive experiences on television, Marvel has chosen to ground the new tv series in seriousness and a grander context where fans can get more of the same. Secret Invasion also marks the comeback of Nick Fury from his sabbatical after Avengers: Endgame.
The first season of Secret Invasion will follow Fury teaming up with his good friend Talos, the leader of a secret sect of Skrull, to stop Gravik, the leader of the rebel Skrulls who wants to obliterate Earth and establish their own race. Emilia Clarke, Ben Mendelsohn, and Kingsley Ben-Adir also star in supporting roles.

Secret Invasion Season 1 Episode 3 Release Date
Secret Invasion Season 1 Episode 3 will release on Wednesday 5th July at 12am (PT)/3am (ET).
The episode will become available to stream on all global Disney+ platforms simultaneously. Secret Invasion will drop with subtitles available from the release too. Episode 3 is expected to be roughly 55 minutes long, consistent with the time frame for the rest of the series, although the first episode was a little longer.

What Happened in Episode 2?
Episode 1 of Secret Invasions picks up right in the aftermath of the bombing. Nick Fury is squarely blamed from all angles, including Colonel Rhodes, for the bombings. Fury is also accused by Elizabeth, Maria’s mother, for her daughter’s death.
We learn of Gravik’s plan of building a secret machine in the vicinity of the abandoned plants. G’iah discovers some shocking details about Dr Rosa Dalton, who is the scientific mind behind the machine, that puts her at unease.
Sonya leads the MI6’s charge of investigating into the bombings by questioning Wallace, the Skrull who triggered the explosions. Gravik is made the unequivocal leader of The Council, a secret Skrull organization whose members occupy the highest ranks in the British government and NATO. The episode also brings a tempting secret from Fury’s personal life, which represents his hunger to save the Skrull community and Earth.
