What Happened in Episode 4?
In Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence Episode 4, we get properly introduced to Hazelita’s character and learn of her angst toward Lady Saint managers and connection to Abel. Hazelita was once friends with the Lady Saint of Compassion, who unfortunately died due to the people of her town treating her like a godly entity. Hazelita confronts Lawrence about his thoughts toward Cecilia.
Lawrence promises Hazelita that he treasures Cecilia, ensuring Hazelita that Lawrence is different from the people she encountered in the past. After some intimate conversations between Cecilia, Lawrence, Hazelita, and Abel, Cecilia finds a box full of items Lawrence made for his grandfather’s event in the past. Abel and Hazelita find them creepy, but Cecilia vows to help Lawrence convince them that they’re cute. The episode closes with Abel and Hazelita wondering if they should leave soon.
