The Devil’s Hour is a psychological thriller that demands you pay attention to the minute details. The protagonist is Lucy Chambers, who wakes up every night at 3.33am for an inexplicable reason. For some reason her reality is distorted and she finds herself struggling to make sense of what’s real and what’s not.
With seemingly disconnected interviews with a convicted killer called Gideon to keep her company, Lucy starts to piece together the true nature of her reality – with devastating results.

Has The Devil’s Hour been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, The Devil’s Hour has been renewed for a second season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that’s fantastic news, especially as it’s done great numbers over at Amazon. It’s not only outpaced Rings of Power, bnut has stirred up a lot of buzz online organically too.
Generally Amazon gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before Amazon make a decision over a show’s future. When it comes to Amazon, they do have a habit of cancelling shows, even when they’re doing good numbers (RIP Night Sky)
So far, The Devil’s Hour has had a really good reaction from audiences and critics alike, with many pointing out several well-worked twists and a gripping story. There are actually a few decent scares in here too!
Given the way this show is set up and that big cliffhanger at the end of season 1, we’re delighted to see this return for another round of timey-wimey madness!

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Amazon have only just green-lit a sequel. Not only that but the show has also given the nod for a season 3 too!
In a recent interview with RadioTimes, Jessica Raines points out that the series has been planned as a trilogy. “I also knew that he [writer Tom Moran] had a season 2 and a season 3 planned out.”
Peter Capaldi, who plays the chilling Gideon, also added: “We know the story that will unfold.”
As mentioned above, we predict that this will be renewed but we’ll be sure to update this page in the future when more information is known though!

I loved this show just when I thought i had a clue about what was going on, I was wrong. This is a great show to discuss with like minded people. Im so glad there will be other seasons, the acting is amazing everyone did such a good job. Can’t wait for the next one. A big fan and telling everyone to watch this!!!!!
I found the acting to be simply wonderful as I love just about all British drama and this series disappoint in that vein. As a result, I hardly watch an American show any more.
However, unlike most here, I found the story-line rather confusing and difficult to understand. And I am not one to be easily confused by such stories. I often find the more complex a story is, the more engrossed I become with it.
In this case, I had little idea as to what part of time I was watching at various points. And how the characters were part of the overall arc of the story.
Given that I found the acting so well accomplished, I am going to watch the entire series again, looking for that single point that I probably missed, which will then provide the understanding I was looking for.
It would be criminal not to continue the story. Mesmerizing!!!
Please have a 2nd season! It is rivoting! I need to know more!
I really hope they renew this one! I haven’t seen a series in quite some time that had me on the edge of my seat throughout the season. Just when I thought I’d figure it out! It would steer me in another direction! I’m going to have to watch it again to catch the stuff going on, I know I missed Don’t watch this one alone! You’re gonna want to talk to someone else about it!
People! Don’t ruin the show for others that haven’t seen it!
This show is a complete mind f**k in the best way. Although I’d like to see more of it, I’m also OK with it not getting renewed because it ended with so many questions and that’s what made it so good. This show can be talked about and debated for days afterwards. A friend who told me to watch it and I have been doing just that for 2 days.
My only negative is the ending comes fast. I wish they’d have slowed it down a little. I had to watch it twice to make sure I got it all.

This show is provoking, heartbreaking, INTENSE, and yet every character and every choice I found relatable and so intriguing. I’ve never left a comment on any show before, but Amazon you will regret not renewing this show so all the lives, possibilities and regrets can be seen by your investors (aka subscribers). Make the right choice in this loop.
Brilliant show! The whole cast was amazing! I watched the whole series in an evening, late into the night and finished the next day. So Binge worthy! I will be totally disappointed if there isn’t a second series. It’s the first series I’ve watched in forever, that I couldn’t figure out what the ending would be. Bravo to the writers and to the powers that be, please let them give us more!!
Best drama of the year by far, if it doesnt get a 2nd series from amazon, then itv or bbc should look to pick it up

I agree with the other comments. I’m tired of Amazon not following through with adding a 2nd/3rd season to amazing series they offer. I get so peaked and want more. Peter Capaldi is amazing as Gideon; I know him from the Dr Who series and loved him ever since. I wasn’t sure about Jessica Raine but as I kept watching, (mind you I binge watched for 4 and 1/2hrs straight, then continued the next day) she draws you into her life as a mother and social worker. This psychological thriller is my kind of SyFy with lots of plot twists.
Loved this! Scary in places but thrilling to watch. Stayed up till early hours of morning watching 4 episodes back to back. If I didn’t need to get up for work I would have watched the lot!!! Please continue with a new season – can’t wait to see what unfolds.
its funny how they spend millions (or billions) on RoP and Devils Hr rightfully beats it :P
Finish season two and three
I’m tired of watching amazing shows like this one not get 2nd seasons. It’s a no brainer, yes prime should be giving at least two more seasons to this and go from there. It’s got everything from psychological thriller to suspense even a couple scares but tastefully done, I’m glad they didn’t keep it in say, a horror type, and prime should have listed that it was psychological bc all I read was suspense and thriller. If no season two honestly prime give up and give it over to Netflix bc I can’t think of one reason why this intelligently put together show should not continue on. I’m honestly tired of these one season amazing shows! Please prime if you’re going to do it which you did all I’m asking is you do it right! Season 2-3 should be given to this show hands down!!! Again if your not let someone else do it bc it’s really not fair to the subscribers, even we know there is plenty more that can be done with this. #TheDevilsHourS2nS3. Season one was just enough to wet our whistle so start the others please!!!!

Absolutely brilliant, watched all episodes over 2 days, we are hooked. Best series I’ve seen in a long time, pity it was so short can’t wait for season 2.
If they don’t renew a show like this I can’t imagine what they wouldn’t renew they might as well cancel seasons of shows and just make an episode or two of anything. This is the exact show you would I think renew I’m sure everyone has to be as captivated as me I can always guess what’s going on I’m at the edge of my seat I can’t guess what’s going on and when I think I know I’m completely wrong it’s an amazing psychological experience. A binge watched it all in one night and then again two days later. I’m tired of finally liking a show and then canceling it like I will cancel MyAmazon Prime if they cancel this!
Absolutely loved it binged watched it 2 nights with no sleep into the early hours .. best watch in ages as totally non predictable .. I so can’t be left with that ending totally need more well done to all involved .. season 2 hurry up

I just finished this today I’ve been watching it non stop for 2 days! I absolutely loved it best thing I’ve watched in a long time. After seeing the ending with Lucy and her as a police officer standing outside what was her house in a different life I totally want more. I’ll be so disappointed if they don’t. Like with the night sky that was so good and they cancelled it.
Really enjoyed this show brilliant acting and definitely refreshingly different from other shows. Can’t wait for the next season.

Yes, there must be a second and third season. So much is left unresolved. Does she die in the fire? Does Isaac? What about Lucy’s memories of a life with Dhillon or as Detective Chambers. So many more question!
