Renewed Or Cancelled?
May It Please The Court is the latest law drama airing exclusively on Disney+, with a decent cast of characters and some pretty interesting cases too.
If you’ve been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more! Here’s what we know about a renewal:
What is May It Please The Court Season 1 about?
Nok Chakhee is an ace lawyer with the highest winning rate in a big law-firm within Jangsan. She becomes a public defender of Jeongha overnight, where she becomes involved with a unique and eccentric public defender called Jaw Sibaek. Together, they take on a serial murder case of wealthy men.
Will Chakhee be able to defend the criminal who killed her love one? We find out across the season!
Has May It Please The Court been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Disney+ have not renewed May It Please The Court for season 2. Given how obscured the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
Given this is a Disney+ Original and airing in a number of different regions, it’s difficult to know exactly what Disney will do with this one. However, there hasn’t been a whole lot of buzz around this.
Despite most k-dramas wrapping up their stories in a single season, it’s very rare -but not impossible – to find these sort of shows renewed. However, we don’t see this being an exception and would believe that this will not be renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about a second season given Disney+ have not officially announced whether this will be renewed or not.
Most Korean dramas are reserved to one season and with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up, although that is slim indeed, despite what we predict above.
We do think this has potential for another season though, and Disney could well decide to push for another season. For now, we’re still in the dark but under the impression that May It Please The Court will not be returning for another season.

The show is awesome, definitely needa Season 2
Yes, I enjoyed the series. Both actors are amazing. They are so cool and their acting are so natural without having to prove their credentials. As they both said, the drama is different from normal drama, only those who value something different will appreciate the drama and the actors. I love the series that I watched on repeat. Love them both. Please have season 2.
