Love In The Air is a 13-episode (with another special episode) Thai BL that narrates the journey of two Architecture students as they find love in two biker bad boys. The show is a mush of romance, drama, and emotions paired with a lot of NC scenes, just as fans of Thai BL’s like it.

If you’ve been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more! Here’s what we know about a renewal:

What is Love In The Air Season 1 about?

The show narrates the love stories of two couples across its 13 main episodes where in the first seven episodes we see Rain learns more about his sexuality after meeting a boy named Payu. The last six episodes of the show focus on the story of Sky, Rain’s friend who has been dealt a bad hand at love in the past that has him swearing off falling in love, until he meets the businessman-biker, Prapai.

The show also has a special episode that narrates the progression of the love stories of Rain and Payu as well as Sky and Prapai after how it ended in Episode 13 of the main show.

Has Love In The Air been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Me Mind My, the makers of the show have not renewed Love In The Air for season 2. Given the popularity of the show over its initial run, many fans will be hoping to see a follow-up season for the show.

Given that most Thai BL shows only run for a single season, it is highly likely that Love In The Air will not be renewed for a second season. However, considering the love that fans are showering on the characters of the show, we could expect more projects starring the two couples or a special spin-off series for each of the couples.

We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available though.

What we know about season 2 so far:

Since most Thai BL shows are reserved for one season, as detailed above, it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. However, if there was to be a Season 2 to Love In The Air, fans would be able to see Rain and Payu as well as Sky and Prapai’s journey into adulthood.

With that being said, based on everything we’ve seen in the special episode of the show, Love In The Air will probably not be renewed.

  2. I really want to see season 2, I miss pai and sky. I want to see them again…. Please please… Not just for the sake of fans but the story as well they are in love but can stay strong for years. Initial love and support is spot on but what about supporting for a long time. Can pai be able to love sky for that long. Married couples have their fights, bad time good time. Can pai be able to give sky that much attention for that long?? I want to know about their story more. And for pai lets say if sky have some sort of problems with his sextual need and not able to have physical intimacy with pai. He will try but not able to do it due to some unknown reason or something. Will that can be a reason for pai to leave him or pai again make sky love him???

  5. Season 2 should definitely be made. This is my favorite BL series and the actors are so committed and adorable!!!🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🩶🤍🤎! I need more of their pure love and devotion. Please make a second season or at least some spin-offs.

  6. This is my FAVORITE BL and probably FAVORITE SHOW EVER. I rewatch whole Season every couple of months. I would love a season 2. I think Rain and Sky graduating, getting jobs, definitely both couples married. How the racing world affects theirs relationships especially since Pai owes Pakin now. Would also like to know more about Pakin, Saifah, Plern, Pleng, Pai’s mom, and Chai. I think there is so much left to be explored with these 2 wonderful couples and the wonderful show that Mame and everyone else gave us. I also hope that there are
    more shows with these wonderful actors. Thank you so much to EVERYONE INVOLVED and CONGRATULATIONS.

  9. Yes to a season 2! Some one made some really good points earlier about getting some questions answered. Definitely would be worth it to see more of Phayu’s and Prapai’s world in the race scene. Who Pakin is and how all of this affects the guys’ relationships! The USA wants more! Do it carefully and make it good!

  17. It would be great to have a season 2 that centers around the illegal racing scene and the person in charge of it and of course our 2 favorite couples!

  20. I want a season two so badly. I want to explore the BDSM lifestyle with Rain and Payu. Will that cause issues going forward or will Rain take to like …well like rain. I also want to see how their relationship matures and meet the twins’ mom and family. Not to mention the elusive but powerful Mr.Pakin. There was also some interest in Rain from Mr.Pakin’s right-hand man. Will that cause issues within this “friend” group?

    As for Sky and Prapai, I want to see Sky’s progression past his trauma. What happened to his ex and past abusers? I would love to see how Prapai and Rain help him through his issues. I also want to get to know Prapai’s family more, we never met the mother and barely the sister and his brother is a storyline waiting to happen! How will Prapai deal with having to race for Mr.Pakin?

    How dark is this world that Prapai and Payu live in and do they do more than ride and work on bikes? I say that’s plenty of material for a second season. :)

  21. considering a second season is almost always butchered and badly narrated with basically prnpleasin material and no plot…. I’d say leave this gem as it is….

    Sometimes, the first time is the best time and the one hardest to top. which is why many of your relationships fall out flat in the end… you keep chasing the hype and when you can’t reach it… you ruin the entire thing…

    No, their story has ended, we don’t need a wedding or anything to make the story fall short on delivery and end like a bad second night stand (I’m looking at you Cutie Pie…)

    and this is ESPECIALLY relevant when the writer is MAME …. But that’s just my personal Opinion…. She’s great on firsts…. but sequels… not so much

  31. There should definitely be a season 2. There are unanswered questions about Payu (What kind of man is he really and how that relates to the mysterious Mr. Pakin?) Also, now that Prapai has to race, as payback to Pakin, will that cause problems for his reputation and his relationship with Sky?
