Has Everything’s Trash been renewed for Season 2? Here’s What We Know:

Renewed Or Cancelled?

Everything’s Trash is Freeform’s latest comedy drama on Hulu, and it’s full of zany antics from characters trying to figure out their crazy lives. If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:

What is Everything’s Trash about?

Created by Phoebe Robinson and based on her own memoir, Everything’s Trash follows Phoebe Hill (Robinson) as she podcasts with her producer Malika (Toccarra Cash) about her life: mess-ups and awkward situations and all. Phoebe tends to find herself in a lot of interesting scenarios–like dating Hamilton (Brandon McLaren), the man who works for her brother Jayden’s (Jordan Carlos) political opponent.

Phoebe and Jayden and the rest have a lot of hard lessons they have to learn along the way: about love, family–and not letting personal drama come between either.

We have extensive coverage of Everything’s Trash across the site, including recaps for every episode. You can check that out HERE!

Has Everything’s Trash been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Everything’s Trash has officially been cancelled

Everything’s Trash doesn’t seem to have performed as well for the channel as other recent season premieres, such as Single Drunk Female and Cruel Summer (both of which have been renewed for second seasons.)

Everything’s Trash has had mixed reception from viewers, with average-to-positive reviews from critics, but unfortunately a lot of negative feedback from audiences.

There’s so much potential for a sequel, but it seems like audiences didn’t feel the same way – and neither did Freeform, clearly!

What we know about season 2 so far:

Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Freeform has only just announced their cancellation for this one. However, the season 1 finale implies certain challenges for Phoebe’s future.

If another network pick this one up, we will likely see Phoebe considering a new romantic interest, played by Anand Desai-Barochia. Of course, this could lead to complications in her relationship with Hamilton (and her brother, now that the two of them will be working together).

For now though that’s all speculation, as it does seem like this is the end of the line for this drama.

Honestly ! @ EverythingsTrash is delicious ; from the writing to the new faces of the incredible young talent. This show yes I related to because I was a wild child from the 80’s, I’m young at heart, but also because, y’all are my kids. Call if you need me. Hey where are your parents???

  3. Bring it back! As a 60-something white guy, I enjoyed the show and am hoping it returns for more. More trash for everyone!

  4. My friends and I love the show. At the very least a second season is needed to explore the relationship between Phoebe and “Ham Baby” AKA Hamilton.
    Fingers crossed!

  5. Absolutely!! The season 1 finale was a great cliffhanger making you want to know how things will play out for Phoebe, both professionally and personally – – not to mention Jayden and his political career. I honestly think Everything’s Trash is just starting to take off! it would be unfair not to give it another season.
