Has Devotion: Story of Love and Desire been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Devotion: Story of Love and Desire has not been renewed for a second season. However, given the nature of the ambiguous ending, that could change.
Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future.
So far, Devotion: Story of Love and Desire has had a rather mixed reception from both critics and audiences alike.
However, given the nature of that ending plus how easy this one is to slip in and out of, we’re going out on a limb and predicting that Devotion: Story of Love and Desire will be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel. However, the conclusion does leave the main plot line somewhat resolved, although the ambiguousness of our main couple does leave that door open for more.
If Netflix do decide to renew this, expect this to be explored in more detail and potentially with Sofia and Andrea having a more dominant role.

Just watched it, full bore. One evening of doubt, delayed betrayal, and we knew which one would give in first. Would love to see what she does as he makes his next big move.
I would love a second season focusing on forgiveness and true love. Does desire true love and happiness, or will they be satisfied just having sex with others?
Devotion, Story of Love and Desire is an exquisite creation. The cinematography, beautiful, the pacing of the film, perfect and the choices and infusion of music, I love.
I find Devotion, from beginning to end of Season 1 to be rich, complex and the acting, absolutely outstanding. I believe all of the elements exist for this to be a noteworthy feature film.
Please continue on creating Season 2 and beyond.

yes I would love to see a second season, It was really good, I feel a lot of people go through this in a relationship, They are both cheaters, but their love for each other is obvious still there, maybe now they will have the relationship that is strong and healthy I think need both need to earn each other’s trust again but that will make the episodes interesting like she said

I would love to see a second season but i dont think it will. Margherita and Carlo both cheated on each other so why would you put them back together. Besides Margherita like sleeping with 4 guys and carlo still with same women . plus hes doing better since they split up . she is also opening a business . He deserves better then margherita. the ending where she kissed him on the lips sending false vibes like she wants him back , shes got a party and her boyfriends r there celebrating with her but shes outside kissing her ex, if she wanted him back she should have never left him and why in the hell did she cut that beautiful hair
