The Devil Judge is one of tvN’s weekend K-dramas, streaming weekly on Viki across Saturday and Sundays. Generally each episode can be found shortly after broadcast, with the hard-working subtitle team generally taking anywhere between 5-12 hours to translate.
This 16 episode drama feels like a blend of Taxi Driver and Vincenzo, delivering a blend of law, melodrama and action thriller vibes across its run-time.
What is The Devil Judge about?
The Devil Judge plays out like a satirical version of our current-world situation, with Korea gripped in a state of chaos. With a hierarchical group known as the Social Justice Foundation pulling the strings, they set up a live court system like a reality show.
Judge Yo-Han and fellow lawyer Ga-On are part of this show but don’t trust each other. A secret agenda from Yo-Han is revealed slowly over time while the Foundation continue to claw at power, doing their best to pervert the justice system any way they can.

Has The Devil Judge been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, tvN has not renewed The Devil Judge for season 2.
The ratings have been pretty good though across the board, with highs of 6.43% during episode 12. Every week the show has been gaining in popularity, which is significant given the show’s slight change into melodramatic waters.
Although there’s been no confirmation yet of a renewal, given the rarity of K-drama renewals, we believe that The Devil Judge will not be renewed for season 2.

What we know about The Devil Judge Season 2 so far
Most Korean dramas are reserved to one season and with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.

I don’t think I’ve ever been as invested in a series as I’d been for The Devil Judge. There really should be a season 2. This is a spectacular Kdrama.
Necesito una 2da temporada del juez del diablo, creo que seria perfecta los villanos eso no hay que imaginarlo los politicos corruptos pero ahora los de la izquierda, ademas de eso quedo viva la mujer que trabajaba para Sun Ah y esa pregunta que se hace Ga On al final cuando estan superando el caso de Yo Han creo que no hay que ser experto para saber que aunque haya un sistema ” incorruptible” puede caer en la corrupcion ya que el dinero y el poder son la base de la corrupcion… Por ende yo opto por una segunda temporada cargada de todo un poco en donde regrese mi juez preferido y que Eliajah pueda caminar y ayudar a su tio vengarse de los cabos sueltos que quedaron y se reencuentre con Ga On un chico maduro que aprendio que esa “Justicia” perfecta no existe. Me parece genial el tema de las leyes y como se llevaron a cabo los jucios de la primera temporada si hay alguien que se merece los aplausos es mi juez Psycho Interpretado por Ji Sung y el guion una maravilla. Espero una segunda temporada aun no he podido superar este drama y eso que me vi Vincenzo y Taxi Driver.
Kesinlikle 2. Sezon olması şart bir dizi hele vicenzonun bile çekiliyorsa 2. Sezonu, the devil judge kesinlikle olmalı aşırı kaliteli bir dizi ve jisungu daha fazla görmek istiyorum, her güm kontrol ediyorum 2. Sezon çıktı mı diye😢
A season 2 is a must for The Devil Judge. I sincerely believe that all the truest lovers(me being one of them) of this K-Drama would look forward to a comeback of Kang Yo Han(Ji Sung) and love to see him and Kim Ga On(Jin Young) working together again and punishing the culprits and the real criminals.

Yes I want a season 2 but with the exact same cast! Gaon, Yohan and Eljia were just PERFECT! Their actors (especially Gaon’s actor) were soooo so good.

Personally, i would love to have a season 2! To be honest, i really am desperate to get a season 2 of the devil judge! Mainly because i want to see Yohan, Eljia and Gaon together again, like a reunion – oh my god i would cry my eyes out! This drama really made my 2021.
Totally hope it will have seasonal 2 with same cast! It is perfect !
Ji Sung is an absolutely amazing brilliant actor starring in an even brilliantly written TV show with a fantastic cast. All the story lines intelligently worked out. So YES!!! lock the geniuses that developed the series in a think tank to accomplish the difficult task of creating a second series of The Devil Judge that matches or surpasses the high quality level of the first series. And ….. i wouldn’t hold it against them if it turned out that Jung Sun Ah didn’t have a steady hand while committing suicide so the wound was more like a serious grazing shot and Kang Yo Han got her out.
Anyway, please don’t keep the world from enjoying a second series of The Devil Judge
I think I really need the 2 season of The Devil Judge. I’m stareding to love it after 20 minutes in the first episode, but the idea that they will all be together is so exciting. I really need more of this series
