What is ‘Bad Sisters’ about?

Bad Sisters begins with the funeral of a man everyone seems to hate: John Paul Williams. His sisters-in-law (Eva, Bibi, Ursula, and Becka) especially despise him–so much so that an investigation reveals their possible involvement in his death.

A dual timeline shows us both the past (just what kind of person John Paul was) and the present (the investigation that incriminates the Garvey sisters).

Has ‘Bad Sisters’ been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, AppleTV+ has officially renewed Bad Sisters for season 2. While Apple has been good about renewing many of its shows, Bad Sisters is a special case, as it plays out like a limited series.

Critic and audience reviews have trended mostly positive for the show, so that’s promising. However, while we won’t give away any spoilers, the ending does wrap things up pretty neatly. Despite that though, money talks and Apple have a good track record of renewing everything, so it’s perhaps hardly surprising!

What we know about season 2 so far:

Not much is known about season 2 at the time of writing, given Apple has only just greenlit a sequel. There’s potential for a follow-up that addresses more of the aftermath of John Paul’s death, or perhaps another scandal altogether. Either way though, we’ll probably have to wait around a year or so before this one returns.

  1. I absolutely love “bad sisters”! I think it is one of the best streaming series on television. It is funny, dramatic, emotional, sincere, fabulous! I would love to see a season two. Please, please, please!

  9. Season 1 finale just leaves you with more questions it hasn’t been wrapped up and I want more – this show is awesome and I’m totally invested in the characters- I really hope there will be a season 2

  12. I really loved this show. So different and intriguing. Much better than the usual drivel you get on US tv. Please renew the series for a 2nd season. The first left so many unanswered questions.

  13. I loved that show and looked forward to Fridays for each new episode. There are still many unanswered questions -was that truly John Paul being locked in the freezer? What about Ursula’s marriage? Do the women get implicated in his death? i truly hope Apple will renew for one last season.
