You is a psychological thriller on Netflix. What is You about?
Joe came to Paris in search of Marienne at the finale of Season 3 after killing Love and fabricating his demise. With the commencement of Season 4, he has abandoned his fixation with discovering his long-lost love and has established a brand-new life for himself through a different name.
In part 1, Joe is seen working as a lecturer using the fictitious name Jonathan Moore. He appears to be trying to start over, however blood and chaos always seem to pursue him, and so this time somebody has their eyes set on taking Joe out. Rhys reveals himself to be the murderer of the rich in the grand reveal of Part 1. However, the revelation in part 2 really kicks things into high gear.
Despite the numerous objections from his inner voice, Joe still seems to be Joe. His propensity for plotting and his obsession still exist. In reality, Rhys is Joe’s hallucination—the darkest, primitive aspects of himself (his id). In actuality, Rhys has nothing to do with those murders; Joe simply projected those aspects of himself onto Rhys. As Joe battles his greatest foe to date—himself—he is forced to consider the effects of his heinous crimes.
Joe and his partner Kate start an entirely fresh life in New York City as the season comes to a close, and Joe is cleared of any wrongdoings largely owing to Kate’s wealth and influence.

Has You been renewed for season 5?
While renewing a series, Netflix often evaluates a variety of factors, such as how many people immediately watch it along with the drop-off rates. Some series undergo fast cancellations or renewals. Sometimes, it may take several months for Netflix to decide whether or not to renew a show.
