What is Wrong Side of the Tracks about?

When his teenage granddaughter, Irene, falls victim to the drug dealers overtaking his neighborhood, a fed-up war veteran called Tirso takes matters into his own hands. Across the first season, everything collided in dramatic fashion with Tirso finding out about Irene’s drug use and Sandro’s henchman Yeyo following a hunch and setting out to uncover who the Robin Hoods are.

The second season wastes no time picking up where it left off, with plenty of action, drama and thrills across the story.

Has Wrong Side of the Tracks been renewed for season 3?

At the time of writing, Wrong Side of the Tracks has been renewed for a third season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that’s great news for fans of this action thriller.

Generally Netflix gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. The completion rate is one of the most important metrics though, as recently revealed with the shock cancellation of 1899.

With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future.

So far, Wrong Side of the Tracks a has had a pretty good reaction from critics and audiences alike, with many enjoying the twists and turns, along with the action-packed story.

With all that in mind, fans of this Spanish series should be pleased to see this one returning, and we’d imagine it’ll drop at some point next year on Netflix, should the streamers decide to continue airing this one.

What we know about season 3 so far:

Barely anything is known about season 3 at this point, given a renewal has only just been confirmed.

According to Telecinco, season 3 will see: “The appearance of Tirso’s ex-wife and Ezequiel’s amnesiac awakening be the triggers for the new plots of the series.”

How this plays into the main story with Irene and Tirso remains to be seen. However, it’s great news to see this one has been renewed.

The actors in this twist and turns can’t be any better then they are but then we see the next episode and yet the actors still surprise us more! We hope this show will keep running on Netflix.   55. Watched season 1 and half way through season 2. I like the series very much and love the camaraderie between Turso and his 2 pals. But, what I don’t care for: Nelson is a violent criminal and you just know that in the end, he’ll end up being forgiven for everything, plus, the character of Irene is boring, she’s self centered, lazy, and the writers should have made her part much smaller. Thanks for letting me give my honest opinion!
