Has Worst Ex Ever been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Worst Ex Ever has not been renewed for season 2. Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.
So far, Worst Ex Ever has had a really good reaction from critics and audiences alike, with many enjoying the story and the pacing.
Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will be renewed for a second season. The series has plenty of potential and given Worst Roommate Ever was similarly renewed, it’s not outside the realm of possibility to think the same here too.
Netflix do tend to give more leeway for true crime series because completion rate is a really important metric and a dedicated fanbase are more likely to watch all the show.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel. If this is renewed, expect there to be another 4 episodes, each clocking in at around 60 minutes each and tackling the cases in more detail.
For now though, we’ll be counting down the days until season 2… if Netflix renew this one!
