Has Wolf Like Me been renewed for Season 3? Here’s what we know:

Renewed Or Cancelled?

Wolf Like Me could not have released at a better time, given the current spooky season of Halloween. With plenty of chills, thrills and memorable moments, season 2 comes to a close with a bang.

With the season now over, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know so far:

What is Wolf Like Me about?

The story centers on Gary, who is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since his wife has passed away. Meanwhile, Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone but fate brings these two unlikely souls together.

In season 2, Mary and Gary face their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy. As much as the two try to have a “normal” pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions swirling around. Will their child be a human or a wolf? Just how long can they keep things secret from the rest of their family? Will what happened in the outback come back to haunt them?

To make matters worse, Mary’s former professor, Anton, is now back in the picture and set to cause havoc. Can their relationship withstand the unearthed secrets from Mary’s past?

Has Wolf Like Me been renewed for season 3?

At the time of writing, Peacock has not renewed Wolf Like Me for a third season, although it’ll be interesting to see if this one does get the green-light, given how popular this series is.

Generally Peacock, like other streaming platforms, gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton etc.) Other times, it can take months before a decision is made over a show’s future.

Wolf Like Me is certainly popular, but it really depends on how it resonates with audiences compared to the first. It would seem that the streamers are waiting to see what the drop-off rate is for season 2 compared to the first before making a decision. However, given the ending of this season, there’s plenty of scope for a third season to grow into.

Given the popularity of this one and how enjoyable the series is, we predict that Wolf Like Me will be renewed for a follow-up season, although we will update this section when we learn more!

What we know about season 3 so far:

Not much is known about season 3 at the time of writing, given Peacock have not officially renewed this one yet. Should the streamers decide to greenlight this one then of course we’ll see all our familiar characters return.

Mary was forced to give birth while in wolf form on the full moon and as such, the baby is now half wolf. This will undoubtedly cause a whole new bunch of problems for the parents to tackle. It’s likely that if this is renewed, that’s going to be the central crux of the issue that’s explored in more detail, but we’ll have to wait and see!

  1. Just heard of this series this week due to Amazon promoting it in the UK. We Binged watched both series. Hoping for a third series 🤞

  2. Love this show!! Found by accident and binge-watched both seasons in 1 night! Can’t believe Peacock didn’t advertise this great show! Please let there be many more seasons. As previous comments – there is so much material to choose from with how season 2 ended…great job everybody!!

  3. Yes! Get going on season 3, pleeeease!! How many werewolves are there in this town? Hmmm, good question. Like in K’s comment, perhaps there is a wolf in the police department who finds a way of letting Gary and Mary off the hook because he or she has a big understanding of the odd events centered around Gary and Mary. Let’s go Peacock!! Get on it!!

  4. ABSOLUTELY! And beyond Season 3! This is such a good show and I’m tired of seeing good shows just stop after 2 or 3 seasons. When you have something good aren’t you supposed to run with it? Obviously I’m not alone in loving this show either. It’s so hard to find a good show anymore, so please please keep this show alive far beyond season 2 or 3!

  5. Just found this show and bind watch it in 3 days….Loved the humor and how they get out of their siuations…Enjoyed it fully…..Please have season #3 soon!

  6. Omg love love love this show I’ve watched the 2 seasons already 5 times. They better come out either seasons 3, 4, 5 and more. The humor is great, love the story line and the wolf actually looks realistic. Can’t wait to see what happens in season 3.

  7. Our family LOVES Wolf like Me, the actors are great and the plot is very original, which is great. We’re dying to see if they do a Season 3 and where they go with the newly born wolf-human baby. Peacock please renew!!!

  8. Great show! Excellent acting and left me wanting a season 3. Didn’t even know about the show because peacock didn’t advertise it nearly enough. Fingers crossed that they renew it!!

  9. My daughter and I can’t wait for the new season and we can’t believe we have not heard anything about this until this week and we have had peacock for a year now. But great story line and the cast is spot on!!

  10. Absolutely a must for season 3. Love this show I watched entire season in one day last year and the second season as well in one day this year. It’s addictive and always wanting more to know what’s next. Well acted by Isla fisher and josh gad

  11. Wolf Like Me,

I would love to see a season 3..How I would like to see season 3 playout…

Ultimately someone high up in the police force is also a wolf, they catch wind of the event when they transform back the next day, they aren’t sure at first the events are connected to full moon but trust their intuition, they personal take over the case. Start to explain away a lot of the odd events.

Such as reason they were in the basement, most sterile room, feared having a c section after being exhausted. Reason they have a basement, they joke it is their sex room for date night.
Gun was for the trip into the desert pregnant baby brain forgot to register it.

I would start the season with Mary and her newborn both in human form by the time the police see them, soon as Mary starts to feed her newborn she transforms back.
Mary is taken back to the hospital so her and her baby can be health checked.
Gary just breaks down and police cant get any information from him, they hold him due to the unregistered weapon being in his vehicle.

I would end the season on just how many Wolfs Like Her there are, with many wanting meet the baby and transcending on Adelaide creating a trendy wolf clique in Adelaide. With a strong enough gathering to keep them protected and their secret safe eg barristers, lawyers etc all wolves. I would blame Anton and his travels for the surge in wolves as a professor traveling, he has bitten people in different parts of the world all in unique and varied occupations. Which ultimately helps Gary to get over Mary and Antons’ full moon catch up ‘date night’. And helps Mary to forgive herself for biting him which caused him to turn up at her baby shower.

Have I put a bit of thought into, maybe, I just love it! Cant wait to see where the writers take us!

  12. I would love to see another season of this show! I just binged the whole thing. Shame on you, Peacock TV, for sitting on such a great series for two whole seasons and not giving it enough of a push it needed to gain a proper following. I’ve been subscribed to this channel for a long while and I can’t understand why I’m literally only hearing of Wolf Like Me until this week. If they don’t think they have enough views to keep this going, they can only blame themselves for that.
I’ll admit, when I first heard of it, I was a bit skeptical that this premise could be pulled off without being totally camp, but it manages to turn the concept into a metaphor for the barriers people put up to protect themselves in the face of great emotional losses, and do so in a manner that really has you rooting for all the characters to get things right.
Where they ended the second season sets up lots of places for the show to go in coming seasons. I hope the Peacock TV guys realize what a hot commodity they have in their hands and don’t waste the opportunity they’ve been given to see it all the way through.

  13. I’m a 56 yr old woman and I hope there is a season 3!!! The cast is perfect in their rolls and we have to see baby wolf come on !! I think it’s a wonderful show that appeals to all ages. Please 🙏🏼 bring it back.

  14. Such a cute show! LOVE Josh Gadd and Isla Fisher in these rolls! The actress that plays Gary’s daughter is great too. I really hope they pick this up for a 3rd season. We have to know what happens to the baby.

  15. My wife and I really love the show and we are hoping it will be renewed, it has a good story and good actors, and the bonus it is made in Australia, so here’s hoping they have enough brains to renew it.

  16. Heck yeah!! So far, the writers have done a fantastic job. We can watch this with family. Finally, there’s nothing x-rated! Please don’t stop!! Please.
