After completing Season 1, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:

What is Will Trent Season 1 about?

Will Trent is the latest police procedural crime drama that follows Will Trent. He is a Special Agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). He comes from a rough childhood and he is dyslexic. Despite all this, he has great observation skills that have enabled him to rise in the ranks and proclaim to be the GBI agent with the highest clearance rate.

We have extensive coverage  of Will Trent across the site, including recaps of every episode. You can find those HERE!

Has  Will Trent been renewed for Season 2?

Fortunately, we already have confirmation that we will be getting a season 2!  ABC announced shortly after the end of season 1 that fans can look forward to more Will Trent. This comes as no surprise given the high ratings the first season had.

What we know about Season 2 so far:

According to Ramón Rodríguez, who plays the role of Will Trent in the show, season 2 will dive deeper into the established complex and nuanced characters. It seems that season 1 barely scraped the surface and we will be getting to know our favourite characters on a much more intimate level, relating to them on a deeper human level.

This is extremely exciting news given that season 1 ended on a cliffhanger for some of the storylines. Fans want to know if Angie will recover and whether her relationship with Trent is truly over. There is also so much we would love to know about Amanda and Faith. I guess we will have to tune in for season 2 to satisfy our curiosity.
