Renewed Or Cancelled?
Trolley is a politically charged drama with sprinklings of mystery and a good dose of hard-hitting acting. If you’ve been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Trolley Season 1 about?
Trolley is a pressure-cooker of tension, playing out as a mystery romance with a tight-knit group of characters. They find their lives turned upside down.
At the center of this is Kim Hye-joo, who is married to Nam Joong-do. Joong-do is an Assemblyman at the National Assembly, unaware of the deep secrets his wife is harbouring from her past. However, he too has an equal amount of secrets, which show up at the most inopportune moments, right off the back of a shocking reveal in the first episode.

Has Trolley been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, SBS and Netflix have not renewed Trolley for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings began with a pretty decent 4.6% share nationwide but since then, the show has been pretty steady over time, with recent weeks hitting around 3.7%.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, we predict that Trolley will not be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it’s rare to find these renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently, alongside Alchemy of Souls too. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? It seems very unlikely that Trolley will buck the trend.
There is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up for a sequel or a spin-off featuring the same characters but considering all of this, we believe this will not be renewed.

I would like to see a second season the trolley was really good. I loved it bring a season 2 ASAP.
I truly enjoyed watching Trolley.
It was fascinating to watch the different aspects of how you decide what is true and what isn’t. Also how the character actually came to her acknowledgment of what actually happened in the events. I have to give it to the writers they have Imagination,
The twist and turns in this movie makes you really think about life ans what you’re actually believe. I am really looking forward to a second season if that is possible; if not, at least some kind of closure to this series would be appreciated.

I have enjoyed watching Trolly and would love to see a Season 2. The actors are so good in their roles and I’ve enjoyed all the twist and turns in the story. My friend who lives in another state enjoys Trolley as well. After each show we have to call each other and talk about what we think happened. Excellent programming.
