Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You is a sweet little romantic anime, depicting the romance of Nasa and Tsukasa Yuzaki. If you enjoyed their journey the first time around, and have watched the follow-up, you may be wondering if this one has been renewed. Well, here’s what we know:
What is Tonikawa Season 2 about?
After their first home has burned down, Nasa and Tsukasa Yuzaki set out to seek temporary shelter at the Arisugawas’ bathhouse. Though they have only been married for a short time, their relationship has only become more sweeter as time passes by. Nasa is determined to spend as much time with his wife as possible, basking in the happiness of their marriage.
The newlyweds find new ways to explore their relationship after this season. Whether it be adopting a cat, going to a theme park, or even watching a romantic comedy featuring Nasa’s former teacher, every day is a new experience.
Through it all though, Nasa has yet to meet more of Tsukasa’s family. Though they appear to be the perfect couple to everyone around them, Nasa begins to wonder if he will ever learn more about his wife’s mysterious past.
Has Tonikawa been renewed for season 3?
At the time of writing, Tonikawa has not been renewed for a third season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that could well change given how popular this anime is.
It is worth noting though that fans of the show can expect a 4-episode animated spin-off titled ‘Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You: High School Days’. This is actually set to premiere on 12th July this year. These few episodes will focus on Nasa lecturing in an all-girls high school.
In terms of an official renewal though, production company Seven Arcs haven’t made an official announcement. They would gauge numerous metrics before renewing this one, including how many people initially watch it, fan reaction and then examining the drop-off rate. Furthermore, manga sales and how much of the manga has been adapted are also taken into consideration. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a final decision is made over the show’s future.
So far, Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You Season 2 has had a very mixed reaction from audiences and critics alike, with most commenting on how this season has meandered through a lot of its plot ideas.
Given the way this show is set up, there’s definitely potential for a sequel, however it may not happen for a while. With all that said, we’re going out on a limb and predicting that this will be renewed for a third season.

What we know about season 3 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 3 at this point, given Seven Arcs have not green-lit a sequel officially. It would seem likely that the story would continue to focus on the romance and characters, hopefully with a bit more development this time around!
As mentioned above, we predict that this will be renewed so we’re hoping it’s just a matter of time before we get confirmation. We’ll be sure to update this page in the future when more information is known though!

Spoiler alret: Tsukasa was born 1400 years ago back in past she was sick and was given the elixr of immortality.. and her grandmother is not her actual grandmother , infact she was saved by Tsukasa when her grandma was injured in an accident that is why her so~called grandma takes so much care of her, now she have met nasa I think that the elixr’s effects are wearing off and she is beginning to live a normal life. thats what i think , and no.2 that nasa is a renicarnation from someone way back in Tsuakasa’s past. :D

Absolutely. The anime is so moving and it has abit of comedy added to it. Furthermore I want to know just how the grandmother got a moon rock. And I want to know more about Tsukasa’s past.
