Things You Should Have Done is a surreal British comedy series currently available on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
The series stars social media star Lucia Keskin as a young woman named Chi who is forced to fend for herself after her parents die in a car accident. The premise of this show might not sound particularly funny but as Chi lacks social self-awareness and has no life skills, she becomes a comical character that stay-at-home adult kids might relate to.
After watching the first season of this show, you might be hoping for a second season.
But will Things You Should Have Done be back for more episodes? Here’s what we know:
What is Things You Should Have Done about?
The show revolves around Chi and her efforts to complete the list of tasks that her parents left for her in their will. These ‘things you should have done’ include learning how to drive, how to cook, and how to pay the bills.
Helping Chi achieve these things are her step-cousin Lucas and her aunt and uncle. They are all as dysfunctional as Chi is, so expect lots of laughs throughout each surreal and silly episode.
Has Things You Should Have Done been renewed for Season 2?
At the time of writing, Things You Should Have Done has not been renewed for Season 2.
However, this could change if the show proves popular with critics and audiences.
Generally, the BBC, like other networks and streaming platforms, gauges numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made. As mentioned above, Things You Should Have Done has not been renewed for a second season yet. However, it’s still early days so if the show does well, we expect it will be renewed for a second season eventually.
What we know about Season 2 so far:
Nothing is known about Season 2 yet considering it hasn’t been given the green light (as far as we know). But if the show is renewed, we expect Chi will become the central focus again as she attempts to navigate life with the help of her extended family.
