Owen Hendricks, a rookie CIA lawyer finds himself getting baptized with fire on his first week at the job after discovering a former asset is threatening the agency. He finds himself in too deep and tries his best to survive the cutthroat business of international intelligence gathering.

Has The Recruit been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Netflix has officially confirmed that The Recruit will be returning for a second season! So far, the show has received positive feedback from both fans and critics alike, which is always a good sign.
Generally, Netflix gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix decide a show’s future. As the CEOs have recently come out and said they’ve never cancelled a “successful” show, based on time, money and audience size, it’s good news for fans looking out for more crime thriller shenanigans.
What we know about season 2 so far:
According to the show’s creator, Alex Crowley, there have been talks of a season 2 and we know there are going to be big questions that need answering going forward. What happens to Owen? What happened to Karolina and why did she do what she did?

Could be a good series but please tighten up the writing in S2. The tone is inconsistent and the writers didn’t get together and decide who Owen actually is, or give him motivations that make sense. Anyone sane would have quit the CIA after episode 1, when his co-workers pulled a prank that could have gotten him killed. And the character was not at all portrayed as insane enough to stay.
Max isn’t really dead, she’s been in cahoots with Karolina the whole time. They’re planning on using Owen in some way to get revenge on their enemies.
This has potential for multiple seasons in order to answer all the questions that need answering otherwise it will be a mistake by the creator not to proceed, I have a plethora of ideas to continue in order to answer all the questions that were left unanswered. I can’t wait

It ended with lots of unfinished business.
Definitely need a second season if not more, but please let it be as exciting as the first.
Max must not die in such a way after all she went through.
What will happen to Owen, Sarah, Gilbane etc… ??
What happened to Karolina?? Why isn’t she dead after we saw her laying on the floor and covered with blood ??
Who did this to her ?? Max ?? Russians ?? CIA ??

There is a must to have a second season. We enjoyed watching it but this is not how it should ends.
Oh my God. Don’t end this series here. Another season is absolutely necessary. Really ending the story like this is so unreasonable. Why bother making movies and ending them like this? Why should we bother watching them? It is seriously not worth it.
Yessss agree 💯💯💯 with you Elizabeth!! I think the show has so much potential! I also suspect Max may not be dead. And good God, Owen had a literal epiphany mere moments before his capture. It would be a shame to not follow up on it!
Is Max really dead? Perhaps Karolina shot her with a rubber bullet? What happens to Owen? What happens to Hannah? These are questions I need to have answered! I hope there is another season to clarify. I really hope Max isn’t really dead. I would like to know more about her life. If you need a writer, text me!
