Renewed Or Cancelled?
The Glory is a Netflix original K-drama that follows a woman named Dong-eun as she plots her revenge on her bullies from high school, setting out to make all of them pay for their deeds. If you’ve been watching The Glory, you’ll know that it does end on a pretty big cliffhanger. Here’s everything we know about season 2:
What is The Glory Season 1 about?
The Glory Season 1 is about Dong-eun who has been plotting her revenge against her high-school bullies for more than 15 years. Her traumatic bullying changed the course of her life as she vowed to find justice for herself and others who suffered under the reign of the school bullies.
Her main targets are a group of five friends Yeon-jin, Jae-joon, Sa-ra, Myeong-oh and Hye -jeong who made her life a living hell back in high school. She also wants to punish the teachers and parents who stood by and did nothing to help.

Has The Glory been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Netflix has not renewed The Glory for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
After the release of Part 1, The Glory” topped the platform’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV chart in the second week of its release. Part 2 was also a huge success as viewers tuned in to see Dong-eun complete her revenge mission.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that is sure to move onto other projects, we predict that The Glory will probably not be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved for one season, it’s rare to find these sort of shows renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
It is quite possible that they might focus on Yeo-jung’s revenge but that story feels somewhat complete. Given that Dong-eun got her revenge, there really is no reason for another season. The show pretty much wrapped up the characters’ ending perfectly. A season 2 will most likely not happen.
