Superman & Lois is the latest iteration of the man of steel, featuring plenty of drama, a familial approach and a blend of romance, action and drama. If you’ve watched the whole series, you may be wondering if this one’s been renewed. Here’s what we know:

What is Superman & Lois Season 4 about?

Season 2 of Superman & Lois concluded quite drastically, with our titular hero stopping Ally Allston from merging two worlds together. Clark Kent also sets out to create a new Fortress of Solitude, available for the entire Kent family.

Season 3 picks up weeks after that incident, with all our characters grappling with their own issues, including Jordan clashing with General Lane, who’s now reclaimed his post at the Department of Defense, while Lois wrestles with her medical diagnosis, which threatens to cause a chasm of chaos running right through the Kent family.

Has Superman & Lois been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Superman & Lois has been renewed for a fourth season. Given the CW Network’s track record with superhero shows and levels of quality, that’s great news especially as this is probably one of the better superhero series on TV right now.

Generally any of these networks gauge different metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly but other times, it can take months before a final decision is made over a show’s future.

Thankfully, we can actually see the stats for Superman & Lois, given it’s airing on terrestrial TV and over the course of its season, Superman & Lois has managed to stay firm, starting with a share of 0.747 million and dropping to around 0.552 million at the time of writing. What we know about season 4 so far:

Not much is known about season 4 at this point, given the CW have only just officially renewed the show. However, we can expect more familial drama, as well as plenty of action peppered in too.

  1. I absolutely love this show. I am 59. I am
    an avid Superman fan still. Tyler and Bitsie as well as the other actors do perform so good and so real for a CB show. I am pretty sure that The CW will not renew it for costs issues but MAX should take it for at least two more seasons or an extended 2 part season 4.

  3. Great piece of worlk! It shows the family side of superman. The superhero that has to deal with family issues like any other man. Very refreshing,,,,If you are going to end it….do it well. If I were in CW’s shoes, I’d go for a fourth season….

  5. Considering all the shows that run for 10 plus years at least this some consistency 3 whereas these other Shows that
    Keep going. When you have a show that caters more to the younger people and they like it The networks immediately cancel them And they will keep making shows that I can’t stand Such as survivor .And other idiotic shows you got it shows that they think people are. I would not waste my time There are only 8 or 10 shows That I currently like If you cancel you definitely lost me as a viewer another show I like Is Riverside And The network has canceled that I don’t know what direction CW is heading but they’re losing yfirst they don’t cabout what do people like I also agree with Daphne I often record a bunch of shows Hey what I’m relaxing I’ll binge watch. CW thanks for nothing

  6. Please do not cancel superman and Lois, at least give it a forth. Don’t leave us hanging like this even though it looked like the end, or maybe give us 2 more episodes something.

  8. Superman and Lois is absolutely fantastic viewing.love it.it cannot seriously be over a fourth series is an absolute must.the final episode GUESS WHOS COMING TO DINNER was amazing.

  10. Superman and Lois is so well written and relevant for today. It’s entertaining, thought provoking and nostalgic all at the same time. I record every episode so that I can watch it at my leisure. Don’t cancel this series.

  12. I agree with all the comments. I totally DVR my Superman and Lois ! , even after the replacement of Johnathan Im still a BIG fan . I think the chemistry was better between the Bros with original Jon , but I’m seeing the actors starting to bond a bit more. PLEASE DONT CANCEL

    Sorry I don’t watch within 30 days of ANY show airing quite often. But I prefer to allow episodes to stack up so I can watch in bulk all together. I do this with every show I watch! N I know so many other ppl that do the same thing.
    So PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL! Your reasons are outdated and LAME (for lack of a better word)!
