Has Soundtrack been renewed for season 3?
At the time of writing, Disney+ has NOT renewed Soundtrack #2 for season 3. Given the respectable ratings over the weeks, it might be a matter of time before we get the official announcement
The show has managed to captivate Korean and international fans and has maintained top ratings throughout its run.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years. We predict that Soundtrack #2 will be renewed for a third season.
We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 3 so far:
We know K-dramas rarely get renewed for a second season, but this one is an exception. The show wrapped up most of the character’s stories. We will likely focus on a new couple if we get a new season. As expected, the show will have a lot of musical elements added. I know a girl can dream, but what if we get a new season with Lee Jun-ho and Yoon-ah as the leads? Hear me out first: these two have great chemistry on and off screen, plus they kill it every time they are on stage together.
Just food for thought, but let us know in the comments who you think would make a great couple for season 3!
