Summary
Selling the City is the latest in the current production line of “real estate mixed with soap opera” reality series, changing the setting but keeping the same intense level of drama and squabbling from shows like Selling Sunset. Across the 6 episodes, this one’s been quite the wild ride!
If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Selling the City about?
Selling the City follows a team of agents led by Eleonora Srugo, one of the agency’s top sellers, as they navigate the luxury real estate market in New York City. Naturally, there is competition here as the agents compete for multimillion-dollar deals, while also dealing with personal and professional drama.
Has Selling the City been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Selling the City has not been renewed for season 2. Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made. So far, Selling the City has had a really mixed reaction online from critics and audiences alike, with many pointing out how this is basically a reskinned Selling Sunset and bemoaning the characters. However, others are loving the drama this season too.
Given the way this show is set up, and the ending we receive, we’re predicting that this will be renewed for a second season. It has to be right? Reality shows do incredibly well on the platform, they bring in big audiences and they’re relatively cheap to make. All of this combines to make for an easy prediction.
However, we could be completely wrong too, especially as this is competing with a lot of other shows in this field, although that does seem very unlikely in this case.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about Selling the City season 2 at this point given the show hasn’t been officially renewed. The ending does open the door up for a potential follow-up, with lots more properties shown off but, lets be honest, we’re all here for the crazy drama and fights, which (if this show is renewed) then season 2 is likely to bring.
We could also see more characters enter the fray, and lots of angst along the way too.
However, we’ll be sure to update this page when more information becomes available.

Yes we loved it and ready for Season 2 already!!
I am from Australia, just watching season 1. I love the show jordyn is an absolutely amazing person, Steve, and Justin, nice genuine guys. All the other girls are cool. Would love to see season 2 just drop Nasty Jade out of it. She’s a very two faced person not genuine and go’s behind her so-called best friends back, Eleanora. After watching her, I would never buy a property from this person. I have 5 properties all over a million dollars each. plus a beautiful house I just brought for myself also over a million dollars. Looking forward to seeing my favourite agent on season 2 Jordyn she is wonderful.
Just binge watched 1st season and I am intrigued by this show. Especially the fact that NYC is showcased so well and the fashion is to fie for. PLEASE Bring on Season 2, CHOP CHOP!!
Yes Yes Yes…PLEASE! The characters are fantastic. I don’t think there is any competition amongst any of the other shows like this one. They all bring something different to the table. Please give us more seasons!
Please bring it back for a 2nd season!!! It’s iconic because it’s freaking NEW YORK CITY!!! And the drama is off the chain. I’m obsessed!!!
absolutely more!!! love steve & justin too
absolutely more!!! love steve & justin too
Yes, bring on season 2.
Yeees, of course we need season 2!
I would like to see a 2nd season
Yes please!
I found the cast believable and likeable and Eleanora is compelling. Is Jade really that mean, hurtful, disparaging in real? She knows she’s being recorded. Jade could learn something from the peers in the real estate reality show in from Australia where there’s “healthy” fair competition with your peers. Eleanora has her vulnerabilities but that’s what makes seemingly more authentic and appealing than Jade.
Well yes, of course we need season 2 after they ended with the fight with Abi & Jade.
Great characters, great condos/appartments/great story lines. Renew this show!
I think this is great entertainment.
I am swedish for what it´s worth
