Scissor Seven is Netflix’s action comedy animated series that centers around a 21-year-old hair stylist whose assassin past relentlessly pursues him, despite his complete loss of memories. The young boy spends all his time fending off Shadow Assassins after having a huge bounty placed on his head.

What is Scissor Seven Season 4 about?

Season 4 of Scissor Seven has multiple storylines running parallel to each other. The season initially picks off with the fight between Seven and Blackbird, Manjusaka and Shimen before he defeats Blackbird and gets rescued by Dai Bo.

The second major segment is White Fox attacking Chicken Island in search of Seven before Red Tooth shows up to stop him in his tracks.

The most important segment of the season however is the rivalry between Green Phoenix and the Leader of the Shadow Assassins. This segment unfortunately is cut at the end of the season because Green Phoenix has to rush to save his disciple Thirteen from the Snake demons.

Has Scissor Seven been renewed for season 5?

At the time of writing, Netflix has renewed Scissors Seven for a fifth season. A release date is not yet known. 

Generally Netflix, like other streaming platforms, gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future.

So far, Scissor Seven has had an amazing reaction from audiences and critics alike, with the series easy to watch and full of action and combat. The show is currently seeing a whopping 8.4/10 rating on IMDB.  

We predict that Netflix is likely to renew Scissors Seven for another season considering the ending of the season plus confirmation from the creators that they are currently working on season 5.
