Renewed Or Cancelled?
Saint X is a psychological thriller revolving around the mystery surrounding Alison Thomas’ tragic passing. If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be curious to know whether this has been renewed or canceled. Here’s what we know:
What is Saint X about?
Hulu’s crime thriller centers on a wealthy family visiting Saint X, a Caribbean island in the past timeline. Alison spends time with her loved ones on the island. However, the night before they return to their home, where Alison is due to start college, she disappears.
A few weeks later, while certain tourists are exploring a close by cay, Allison’s corpse is discovered. However, it is challenging to determine how she passed away because she has been in the sea for days.
Several years later, the unsolved case still plagues Claire, Alison’s younger sister. Claire, who now goes by the name of Emily. She works as a documentary editor and resides in Brooklyn’s largely Caribbean neighborhood. She embarks on a dangerous quest as she seeks to learn the truth about what really happened to Alison.
Has Saint X been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Hulu has not renewed Saint X for a second season. This is not surprising given that the show has only recently been released on the streaming platform.
While renewing a series, Hulu is most likely to evaluate a variety of factors, such as how many people initially watch it along with the drop-off rates. It could take several months for Hulu to decide whether or not to renew a show.
The likelihood of a second season has dropped given that it is premised on a novel and because there is no primary source material for season 2. Additionally, the drama has received unfavorable reviews all over the place. The closest you’ll get for the time being is Schaitkin’s second book, Elsewhere, which, according to the author, is very different from Saint X, though it shares some of that haunted tone and sense of mystery.
Having said that, given that the series ends vaguely, never say never. Additionally, Leila Gerstein, the showrunner for Saint X, mentioned that the author, Schaitkin, was “nothing but wonderful and supportive” of the adaptation procedure, even when it came to making alterations to the original text.
In light of this, it seems likely that the two could work together once more if Hulu decided to produce Saint X Season 2 — even though there isn’t a book follow-up to draw from.
In light of everything, we believe that Saint X will not receive a second-season renewal.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Since Hulu has not yet approved a season 2, not much is known. The season comes to a close with Alison’s death being thoroughly explained, Edwin and Gogo rekindling their friendship and Claire coming to terms with Allison’s death. The second season might go into detail about Claire and how Gogo is doing after Edwin most likely passed away. Or it could even go in the way of an anthology of some description.
As previously stated, we anticipate that this won’t be renewed. However, as soon as new information is made available, we’ll be certain to update this article.

Very much enjoyed but don’t feel there is a story for season 2
I sure hope there is season 2. I’m hooked just like thousands are so hulu, DON’T DISAPPOINT US!!!!
I totally agree with the comment above from Vanessa! My husband and I anxiously waited every week to watch this show! So we would definitely like to see a season 2.
There should be another season I’m addicted
Loved it . Was hooked from the start to the finish.
I personally was OBSESSED with season 1 of Saint X and would love for them to come out with a second season! I loved the storyline, the characters, the suspense, the “waiting game” to find out what really happened to Allison, everything. Maybe season 2 could be about Claire and Gogo/Edwin’s relationship or they could start up a whole new story of another person disappearing. Regardless, I would 100% watch if they came out with a second season!
