Race is the latest office-based K-drama that tells the tales many people working in a corporate office environment. This one takes more of a slice of life approach, but it’s no less endearing because of it.
What is Race Season 1 about?
Race tells the story of marketer Park Yoon Jo, who has a lackluster education but is determined not to let office politics deter her. She is dedicated to her work.
Elsewhere, there is the intelligent and just Ryu Jae Min who has no expectations from the company. He simply wants to prove himself. What happens when these two collide? This series showcases just that!

Has Race been renewed for season 2?
At the time of this writing, Race has not been officially renewed for season 2.
The show has managed to captivate Korean and international fans and has maintained top ratings throughout its run.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years. Given the ending and the endless possibilities for this show’s storyline, we might get a season 2 but it seems highly doubtful at this point.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Given what we know about K-dramas, they rarely get renewed for a second season. However, if this is renewed, viewers are sure to love seeing Park’s new journey and how things play out. What new challenges will she face in Yi-Jung’s new company?
It would also be great to see what her relationship with Jae-min is like. As expected, there’s no smooth sailing in any relationship and they might go through some tough times on their way to bliss.
